Edited by: Schola on 11/08/2003 06:44:12 If you are interested in joining STK Scientific, there is a few things you need to know first.
1) Alot of our members are Australian. This by no means that if you aren't Australian you can't join, it just means that our prime Directors are from Australia. We have alot of members from various timezones, and have a continual presence all day. Anybody that wants to join us and is willing to contribute will most likely be accepted.
2) The corporation works as a group to the improvement of the corporation. No single individual or subgroup will be showed favoritism.
3) STK buys and owns the BP's. (If you bring personal BP's, or buy your own, they remain your property)
4) If you want a ship, or a piece of equipment, you supply the minerals and you get it. Either produce it yourself or get someone with the skills to do it for you. Or you can work with the corp and the corp supplies whatever you need.
5) If you are in a profession that does not get minerals, then we request something else from you.. ie if you're a trader, we request money, or some special corp trade runs. A Scientist type gets supplied whatever they need as long as they keep doing the lab work. Fighter type can recycle loot for minerals, or if just protecting a strip mining operation, he has earnt part of those minerals. An explorer is outfitted by us also, he is the one that finds the camp spots, HQ areas and rare ore belts for us. An industrialist will be asked to contribute money or manufacture time.
6) We do NOT pay anybody.
7) We do NOT force anybody to do anything. Whatever you want to do is fine by us, we are sure you will be contributing, and will support you in any way possible. If you want organised activities we have them, If you want to lone wolf off by yourself, thats fine too.
Corp Membership: 100(as at 8 Aug)
Please contact Deus, Temerlyn or Salgurdar in game. Alternatively post at the STK Scientific Forum to show your interest in joining. You will be invited to join our corporate channel.
You will be able to get a good idea of how the corp works here, and we can get to know you better. After a period of time, we will then ask you to put in your application to join the corp if you haven't done so. The application will then be processed.

I heard there's an aussie or two out there not in this corp. How could you? =)
There is no other aussie corp anywhere near as advanced or organised as us. So if your looking for a corp, please put us first on the list.

This is an excellent corp and I have experience with lots of corps. STK scientific you may recall won a lottery in beta and received a corporate owned station. That experience is still with the corporation. We have a fairly well advanced research program which in combination with wise marketing decisions has enabled us to acquire a great many excellent blueprint originals. STK has a good and active forum, a small yet effective website. Most of all STK has nearly 24/7 operations, due to our nature those operations are likely to be interesting or at least useful to each participant.
