How long is CCP stuck in the Sony exclusive licensing trap? I ask because the explanation for selling the CCP soul was that only Sony would allow the eve-dust link, which is no longer true. is there any hope at all of dust being made available on Ouya? I would buy an Ouya for dust, but wouldn't touch a ps3 if it were covered in naked ladies. Maxim 34: If you're leaving scorch-marks, you need a bigger gun. |

1. Since when did Sony back out of th whole EVE / Dust link? It's CCP that wants to take things slow (some crap about not wanting to break their 10 year old pride and joy)
2. The Oura runs a terga 3 processor, and is basically a glorified tablet that uses your TV as a screen. Not a chance it could handle Dust, or any PS3 game. Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Agreed. It is EXTREMELY unlikely the Ouya could handle something like Dust. it's an interesting concept but becoming quickly obsolete as tablets get more and more powerful and come with HDMI out for big screen goodness. |

Except most of the power goes into stupid stuff like over-done textures and effects. Assuming dust doesn't lean on that stuff like a crutch to hide uninspired gameplay, I'd take a low res lite version any day, rather than having anything to do with Sony. I hope that's not true ... I've had the great misfortune of playing a SoE game before. It makes me nervous every time I remember that Sony (the evil empire) has anything at all to do with CCP and EvE. I sincerely hope that this arraignment with Sony is short term and I urge CCP to get rid of Sony as fast as is legal (or if there's a clause in the contract for an early termination of the agreement .... exercise it as soon as financially possible). |

You're right, I wouldn't touch the PS3 either, unless it was incidental during other contact. zubzubzubzubzubzubzubzub |
