I have just been told that a PvP corp is demanding 300Mill ISK to stop a war that was declared 12 Hours ago on a small mining\builder corp. How would you deal with this?? Options I can think of are :---- 1. Pay the ransome and risk the war still happening. 2. Hire a merc corp to declare war on the PvP corp. 3. Recruit PvP'ers into the mining corp. 4. Offer bounties for the PvP corp members corpses on the channels. 5. Shut down the mining corp. 6. Ignore the war declaration. Comments please.

Treborc	Posted - 2005.06.24 07:38:00 - [5] Update from the War Front :--- Earlier today while I was at work the first shots were fired in this war declared for no other reason than 'We are broke'. Now that it has really started I nolonger feel the need to speak of the agressor as a PvP corp but name them as being 'Killer Clowns From Outer Space' and the miner/builder corp as being 'Hellhound Industries' The first casualty was a newbie who was only a day old who joined 'HellHounds' after being warned that we were at war. Poor 'Semjac' with skills of a newbie and a rookie ship was pod killed within hours of his application being accepted. Therefore after much consideration a further option has been identified and will now be implemented. Option 8. (a) Advise corp members to not exit stations currently docked at, and to setup shop buying/selling on the local market. (b) Sub-contract out all mining activities to other corps. (c) Start building up ships and ammo stocks for sale and supply to other players as needed. (d) Offer sanctuary to any PvP player, pirate, bored miner alts, and homeless ship killers who want to have a chance to kill other players with impacting their Concord security standing while roaming within Empire space. (e) Put out corpse contracts on identified 'Killer Clowns' members (f) Increase 'Killer Clowns' members Concord bounties for each identified player and renew them once a week untill end of war. (g) Offer rewards for 'Killer Clown' member details not already held. (h) Advise everyone who asks to check 'HellHound Industries' Corporate BIO for War status details. (Bounties, Contracts, Target lists, Signup bonuses) So now we defend ourselves to the best of our abilities, with the support of our friends and customers.

And how do you ensure that the said pod death has occured, is a corpse able to be always provided? Is 5 million enough to get the job done or is it 10 million?? And is a corp wide bounty applicable? As you can see above the CEO of the PvP corp has no intention of leaving the Miner corp alone untill he's been paid, and does not care that in the process forces its memebers to resign and join other corps possibly destroying the miner corp in the process.

She told me that the war is nothing more than a personal vendetta against herself and myself. Nothing less than the total destruction of Hellhounds and the removal from the game of our two accounts, yes accounts not characters is wanted. THAT IS NOT ROLE PLAY OR GAME PLAY.......... THAT IS GRIEFING But neither I or Lady plan to leave....... We have no plans now or in the future to pay any ransom to any person or corporation. Instead we have decided to use all the resources we can muster to protect our right to enjoy the game. Therefore we ask any and all persons of high or low standing who would like to help to pay attention to this forum for new threads regarding how 'Hellhound Industries' the miner/builder corporation stood up to the bully tastics of a corp thiefs alt account abuse of position as ceo of a pirate corporation. Sit in a high sec station and make heaps more ISK than before off the market while the pirates sit outside station not making any ISK cause they cant gank the system with out getting concord on their arses. Its taken him several days to do it but he's managed to put up an escrow for the Killer Clowns of what he thinks is appropriate payment. He's still laughing after getting podded the first time and wanted to show what he thinks of this whole war thing so he put the escrow up at the most apporiate place. Killer Clowns HQ...... and he did it while there was over 10 of them logged on. Well done Semjac ... that took guts for a newbie player. Treborc CEO Hellhound Industries.
