i searched for this gate, but i couldn't find it.

I believe this gate was destroyed however there is what use to be the gate but now just a big light at new eden. this is afaik and i might be wrong.

when your in the system, fly toward the big light (not the sun!)
after a few years in a MWD'ing frigate, the devs might feel sorry for you and move you to Earth

well as the story is told if you approach it the magnetic field would blow you up if you approached it. Remember the Evegate collapsed...

It doesnt actually do that ingame though, or atleast never did. I doubtr it was added.

I've been there a couple times and is the only entrance for Jove space.
But don't expect be easy because even in an interceptor would take you around 6h (flying straight to the anomaly). This will not appear in your scanner (only when you are under 365km from it), then you can warp to the anomaly and jump.
Nothing like explore beyond limits

I wonder though if you double klicked (in a shuttle)in the middle of the light and went afk for half a day if you would end up somewhere interesting

no, nothing would happen. you might get podded though, and get a interesting and quick trip to your clone station.

Rutoo Grabs Some Scan Probes and heads to New Eden.
Maybe "Jump Gates" can be added as a new feature to search for while i goto this system :P
And Coming to think about it, New Eden has 1 Planet Any Moons?
/Brings some Moon Probes with him :)

last time I was there there was a crow a couple jumps out I found on scanner but I had no probes its probably still there.
