Sneaking up on a tank as a special forces to plant C4 and having the guy reverse on you isnt fun, nor is being sniped by your own team mates just as you're about to press the magic button.
That said, ive had alot of fun as special forces with the bridges in clean sweep and kubar dam, sometimes I'll just sit there for 10mins and more waiting for a tank or something to go across the bridge before I blow it. Now thats fun

muh, I find the sniper rifle's really inaccurate.
If I want to be 100% accurate I end up having to be less than 20 feet away, which usually ends up in my being spotted and getting slapped.
Strikes me that the innacuracy might be linked to server lag or something, but I dunno, ive used the special forces rifle with greater accuracy.

Nice thing about the gun unlocks is you get to switch between the original and the unlocked gun when you choose your soldier kit though.
I unlocked the big sniper rifle and used it a couple of times for taking out drivers of armoured vehichles, but I prefer using the MEC and chinese snipers on infantry.

I also hear artillery strikes, chopper blades, and sniper bullets whipping past my ears out of game aswell.
And if I close my eyes I see the arse end of a tank for some reason, perhaps cause I play as spec forces way too much.
So yeah, its normal. I guess.

Or, planting C4 on a tank without being spotted, running to a safe distance, accidentally dropping a c4 pack at your feet before you switch to the detonator and blowing yourself up in the process.
I do spend way too much time as a specops messing with C4 though, the other day I planted a bridge and went a whole round waiting for an enemy to roll across it

Because it would be too easy and everyone would be a sniper.
I hated it at first but I now love the fact that you have to have a headshot to kill them and the scope is weak. Also if you want to take the RL issue then changing the zoom would wreck your Zero and you'd have to start using the mil dots etc, which no-one would enjoy.
It means that when you are dying or killing it is due to real skill not just having an uber weapon.
Plus it gives you an enormous sense of satisfaction when you pull those kills off repeatedly, my clan never seems to understand why I can get so many kills with the sniper rifles but it just seems to happen.
I do get a bit overexcited about it last night though, I sounded like the guy from Purepwnage.
BOOM! HEADSHOT!
Anyway yeah, im not too bothered about there not being a scope zoom, would be handy, but if it reduces the number of one shot one kill 'CS awpers' in the game then I guess its for the best.
I prefer specops and anti tank... now thats a sniper

I can get a jet off the ground and keep it in the air, but dont expect me to actually kill anything.
I can fly heli's aswell, just not in a combat role
