you can always fit pulse lasers on deimos
 and  and, will [M] pulse deal with an inty outside web range? cause frigate pulses wont reach...

What the man said. That one inty isn't a problem. His 10 buddies warping towards you while you're sitting there scrambled are.
We were talking about 1 indy not a fleet... eve is like stone, scissors , paper...
First of all... if there is a whole fleet behind that interceptor... you will die anyways... it could be a normal cruiser scrambling you... for 15 sec till he dies... and at that point 20 ships warping in... great..
if there is a fleet you are dead anyways... if you try to prepair for everything.. and start fitting ecm... wcs and stuff in a ship that prob cost you 120 mio in pure isk lose... when you get blown up... you are screwed in the head anyways.

This is actually something I've been wondering and will have to test one of these days. With good drone skills (drone interfacing & heavy drones at least 4), how many drones and what type are needed to force a typical non-tanking inty to disengage?

not tested, but since the interceptors are tin-foiled, they might be able to indeed put the scare on them. just train the skills up and althou they do crap damage, don't forget you are talking about a drone that goes as fast as 5.2km/s and is impossible to track by any weapon larger than a gatling laser or a 125mm AC.
plus add the number factor: 1 warrior does sucky damage, but what about a swarm of 9? Or 10? Or even 14 or 15 if we are talking about vexor/ishtar/domi?
Even so I must say that the only interceptors that might be a hard time for the warriors are the caldari ones, since they have more shields, and the natural explosive resistance in them are high.
Still I consider drones as a nice psi-war too. The unprepared ones might get the scare of their lives when they see 10 red blinking lights in the screen before they even start to think straight.

It takes 9 warriors ~1min to kill a typical untanked crow, 14 warriors about 40-45 seconds.

8 warriors have about 40 DPS, correct? Crusader has about 1250 HP not counting resistances. Assuming I'm the ceptor pilot I can hold you there for 25 seconds before I get scared enough to run. (about 50% structure left). Of course there are some resistances too, so that number is more likely closer to 30-35. Is that good enough for you?

8 warriors have around 25 dps at lvl4 skills: 1.3(Dmg mod)x4(base)x1.2(skill)x8(#)/2(RoF)=24.96
Light drones are nigh on useless, the slower more damaging versions can only hit interceptors in tighter slower orbits (<10km), at which point you can web them and send in the medium/heavy drones to do the job.
