I ran some missions many years ago, and I do a little exploration every now and again, but I don't have the experience some of you have. I have seen some weird stuff drop though... be it a couple of implants in some bunkers I was blowing up out of boredom, a BPC from a generic exploration site frigate, or an escalation at a signature site. I wonder how crazy it can get. So I ask you, what is the best loot you've seen drop from the most unlikely NPC thing you destroyed? Every Ship in GëíGêçGëí \| [FX7] \| Vote Cthulhu 2012

Sadly they didn't use to sell anywhere near what they are at today. I have gotten better drops, but not in high sec. The ones that I enjoy the most are the fluff exploration loot such as free drug samples, and seasoned dandruff.

Of course, being as lucky as I am, I got tags and ammo but I did get "A really really really Clueless Tourist" from blowing up a structure in the same mission. I keep that in my hanger to remind me of the time I could have gotten Makur's modified power diagnostic system, but didn't.

Of course i dismissed it as some kind of attempt to get people off gate or to get a flashy red so somebody didnt take gate guns, or just random tama sillyness. Maybe an hour later as the system started to quiet down, i found myself alone on gate, and decided to scoop all the cans so nobody could use em as warpins. To my surprise, the can labeled 'a-type mwds' contained 2 1mn 2 10mn and 2 100mn a-type mwds. Not only did it completely baffle me as to what they were doing in tama, in a labeled jet can (not secure can from a hauler) on a gate. And the funniest part is that the can was there for well over an hour, and probably hundreds of people came through that gate, but we were all too jaded and e-serious to check the can. Had i not decided to pop warpin spots, that can probably would have despawned on the gate without ever being opened. Such is life in Eve, never know what will happen =)

I found a Slave Delta implant along with 4 True Sansha mods in the Sansha Supervisor in Worlds Collide. I won the loot tables and will likely never see a drop like that ever again. DirectX 11, it's not rocket appliance!

I just happened to be passing by in a Blockade Runner, checked the wreck, saw it was full of stuff I recognized only to be "T2 manufacturing stuff", looted the wreck and ran like hell. Several days passed until I bothered to check it out further, and most of it was this black stuff called "Ferrogel". I didn't pay it any heed until I suddenly realized that the whole stack was worth 300 mil. Sat on it for a year before I sold it, the price had doubled by then. Not exactly a loot drop, but shortly after CCP gave everyone those Apotheosis shuttles 5 years ago, I started finding them abandoned all over the place. Naturally I grabbed every single one I could.
