somehow people keep talking abaout BS and how they will stand vs a dread... well quite simply i dont see anything less then 10-15 BS can take a dread.. if u know the enemy has a dread u dont bring out the big easy targets... take the cruisers instead..
kinda feals like CCP wants us to use cruisers more espacily on the new dreads

peolpe keep saying that you should use smaller ships against a dread because it can't damage them, well don't forget they do have drone bays and based on the amount TomB was using with the Gallante dreadnaught i wouldn't be suprised if it has a bonus. Also aren't they releasing larger frigate sized drones ?
Anyway 1Bil is alot of isk to most players still so if they made the dreadnaughts alot higher than that in price your going to have alot of disappointed players in the game. Those that are saying 10bil etc are just being unrealistic and this is what i would expect a titan to cost not a dreadnaugth.

Edited by: Kashre on 01/07/2005 09:30:30 if they cost 1 billion, that might be about doable for me.
2-3 billion? Never in a million years am I going to have that kind of isk to waste. I cant be the only one in that boat, so hopefully CCP hears the pleas of the people who dont have 8 hours a day to play and spend most of their online time doing PVP or other things that make no isk and make them half assed affordable.
As for killing them: they have about 40 points of sensor strength. That means that a scorp with maxed skills would have what, about 25% chance per jammer with racials. Sounds like thats the way to go as far as dealing with 1 or 2 dreads in a fleet.
What Id be worried about is the uber-rich corps where no one has less than 2 billion in their wallets getting real fleets of all DNs together. That will be scary. +++
It's called "low security space" for a reason. |

Cruisers to dreads should be like frigates are to battleships.
Give cruisers a place ingame

And then they got owned by a small contengent of HACs, AF, and intys.

I heard, a dreadnought cost 1 to 2 bill. A Titan 900 bill.
And i hope, there are no insurance for this ships.
