First: This is meant to poke fun of bit of everybody. So have fun, don't be insulted. If you are easily insulted please don't read. It's not meant to make you feel bad at all.
I couldn't post this in any of the gazillion existing threads since it is a story. It is not an opinion so it doesnÆt fit into other threads. Or kinda somewhere in there there are a few, but none of them is about level 4 missions. Since this is an OOC story I don't know where else it would go. Maybe out of pod exp? Mods please be so kind, if that is the case.
If you don't like long posts don't read. If you want it gone let it drop to the second page, then third. It's an poster-alt, but this is an OOC story.
Many of you won't laugh but this is a joke. It is not intented to insult anyone. Chill, k.
--- Start you warp engines ---
Me and my pals have been playing Eve for a while now. We were here back in the old days too. You know the days when everything was tough and expensive and tough and demanding and we really had to work. And everything was tough. We really worked for our progress, and we feel these days that we have earned what we have. Of course it was not like it is these days. We didnÆt grind like the level 4 mission *****s do. Not at all. It was different, and they should only play for fun. Otherwise it is bad for the game.
We were in this group, an ôallianceö as they are called. We had our own little corp and some nubs joined us. Some of them turned out not to be nubs, I don't know how that was possible but it happened. Many of them were real nubs though and they mined and hauled for us before quitting Eve.
So, we mined mostly and sometimes chained NPC. Chaining was like printing money. It was great and we were making millions and millions and bought some BPcÆs with those and made even more millions and then billions. That was good for economy. We kinda laid the base for Eve to grow and in that sense you could say now that what is good for our economy is good for Eve. I canÆt really explain it, but I know it is true.

At some point we noticed that the amusing noobs had all gotten into battleships. The nerve! Some people even had used apocs to mine in high security space. We called for fixing of that in forums for months, but for no help. I mean how could CCP not see that this was destroying the value of money that had been earned before! By hard work sitting in a belt in our own space, even. It was painful to see the game being ruined. Pointing such things to devs is not really posting on the forums, really. I mean we did it for new players and for the game, only. We were totally worried about newbie systems being stripmined.
So worried that some of us declared wars on the corps mining in high sec space with our alts. It was funny how they whined on local and even on the forums. Stupid nubtard carebears. We also got some nice expanders from them!
Anyway, while all this was going on in nub space, we had some more wars, real wars in 0.0. Unfortunately there was also Bob and others who repeatedly wiped our noses. But we were uber, we knew that because the stupid nubtards had no chance against us.

One day **** found out something great! I donÆt believe anymore that **** actually invented it by himself. Apparently everyone else did as well at about the same time. Anyway according to ****Æs idea we used some weaknesses in the grid system to make us a few billions each by mining in total safety. Zero point Zero risk. Like 0.0. Get it? Ha ha haa. That didn't ruin anything in EveÆs economy as it was completely different from these days.
Anyway, before it was finally fixed by CCP we were rich beyond our wildest dreams! We knew we were set for Eve-life and observed how the little folks tried to claw their way to battleships. Amusing as they always are the clueless stupid nubtards.
Meanwhile we were becoming a bit bored with Eve and had some wars and our alts had some more wars to pass the time. Yarr. Yawn. Wars were a bit boring tbh because of insurance. Which doesn't ruin economy, because it supports PvP. And PvP is the only real thing in Eve. We didnÆt know it before that. But suddenly it all had become very clear for us. Yarr again. We had mined before, but now we werenÆt going to mine no more. In fact we went to forums and announced that only nublets mine!
Because everyone of us had billions! Billions! I myself had 13! We didnÆt have to worry about doing those stupid things that nubtards were doing like mining or NPCÆing, ever. Stupid nubtards. We would just play Eve properly from then on! Fly around having wars and stuff and you know. ***** jokes on TS and make fun of nubs that we killed. We also announced this on the forums and went to æCrime and punishmentÆ to brag about it too. And of course the corp forum.
At some point we realized that forums are really like unprofessional and stuff. We decided that we would never ever post in forums again. Apart from times when we wanted to. We announced that on the forums, and watched how some of the guys we had had wars with came and patted us in the back. Cool! We patted them back and went to their recruiting threads to do that too. Recruiting threads arenÆt really part of forums, really.

Then it all went wrong.
CCP did the unthinkable û real PvE for the stupid nubtards and in safe space, where we couldnÆt make them slave for us! OMG! In a few months - only three times longer than it had took us - other people had billions as well! OMGOMGOMG! This was wrong wrong wrong. Our billions were right real ISK (that did not ruin economy) but these new billions are wrong. I only say that because I am concerned about the game, in the most unselfish way.
Of course this huge mistake by CCP that nubs were exploiting required us to post on the forums. But what a coincidence! Every one else of the old cool guys was posting on the forums as well, and about the same thing! They also saw how wrong it was, to ruin their economy as well. I mean, how can we have wars and stuff if we have to mine and NPC and God forbid run missions like nubtards do?! We are uber, we donÆt wanna.
Now some of the nubs donÆt know this, but there is a difference in things when we do it, and when they do it. For example, when we use 17 ships to boost one to gank in low sec gates from 1320 km it is because we can and it is valid. When they do level 4 missions in ravens it is wrong, even if they can do it. They should know better. Same thing applies to: Adapting / whining. Playing / grinding. Improving my economy / ruining my economy. Etc etc.

Anyway, it has been so cool to be in the same crowd with some of those really like legendary players, too! Telling CCP and nubs how level 4 missioning is wrong and should be fixed ASAP. I was so proud to be me, to belong to that real elite. Stupid nublets didnÆt understand of course. They wanted to keep their gamebreaking level 4 missions. How could they understand, since they are stupid?! They didnÆt realize that they are meant to be inferior and just watch us being cool. Apparently the IQ of the people starting to play has steadily dropped since I joined. Odd, I admit, but I can see that with my own eyes so it must be true.
Fortunately there were lots of us old timers that were having some more wars in 0.0 like Eve is supposed to be while our alts ran pirate missions, so we could all gather at forums and politely argue how the new billions are wrong and new people should know their place - or CCP should show it to them.

We donÆt want to force nubtards and carebears in any way. Every play style is valid and there are plenty of choices for them too. They can be cannon fodder or mining slaves for us old guys or they can grind veldspar in 1.0 as long as it is not in large barges, since that is wrong so wrong. Or apocs of course, but I already said that. Well, basically û the nubtards can do anything they like, except make progress in anyway. Since that ruins my economy.
Thank goodness CCP seems to be getting the very loud message we have been sending them every day several times. They are making the level 4 missions harder and less rewarding. Maybe they could also take some ISK back away from nubs as well? I mean itÆs damn clear to anyone who understands anything about the game that nub with ISK is just wrong. Argue all you want.
To every nublet that is now complaining about the coming changes, an old saying that us cool old players have been saying since alpha minus 1172.2: Adapt or quit! DonÆt whine! Look at me, I am totally uber and I never whine and in fact I am so uber because I adapt. Like I adapted to the level 4 missions by pointing their flaws to the CCP. Several times a day, in every thread I could find.
Anyway. I am bored with Eve so I will take a little break again. I can now sleep sound knowing that while I am gone nobody is threatening my superiority and when I return, I will still be on top of the food chain and the nubtards will be in awe of my awesomeness.

I do agree level 4s was well bad move for empire & i see what hes saying, dumb players that couldnt get anywere in eve are mostly now richer then real skilled player who wont spend all day doing missions.
Still nice big wine BUT you dont wine ? & adapt would be to do more missins than the newlets & have Trills not Bills

Heheh. Heheheh. BWAHAHAH!
Actually made me laugh out. A quite fun read. Looks like it is pretty much spot on as well.
I thought this was one of the funnier things I read on the forums. Until I read the replies of some people seemingly not catching the irony/sarcasm. Seriously. Ouch.

Can I point out a small mistake? You should have written "... the average IQ of the people playing Eve dropped when I joined", not "since I joined".

lol, nice post.
For some of the whiners, its pure truth, althought not all the old players are like that. In fact, I'd not be surprised if the whiners are just a vocal minority. (And the more honest of the vocal ones often have some valid points).
However, should have used your main, but still an excellent post.
