[31] Well what the devs had said in chats that there was one money miniral dump in the game and all asteroids and everything that spawns comes from there so if people have to much mega it will surely dry out. ______________________ I am just a crazy cow |

[33] Well, I usually defend CCP when they make changes, but this one really does blow. Especially since they did it without telling anybody about it first. I'm a solo miner, and I *was* enjoying it. I don't want to go pirate hunting, or bounty hunting, infact, combat has little or no interest for me. Now that Omber and Kernite have been nerfed to the point of uselessness, the game has lost all purpose for me. The newbies are going to be even more screwed. Sigh... it was such a good game, too... ;`+( -- Gotta sell my stuff... |

[35] Uhm... no.. For EVE to thrive in the long run, there has to be a large PvP element. It simply doesn't have the PvE content that other MMORPGs have, or even the potential for that much PvE content.. basically only one PvE option.. kill NPC pirates in an asteroid belt.. wash, rinse repeat.. The true "content" will come from PvP, and they have already squashed one area of that.. the PK pirates.. so since PK pirates have essentially been banned, what is left for PvP? Corp wars.. Now, ask yourself one simple question.. and use your brain on this one... how many large multi-corporation, system-filling, awe-inspiring battles do you think will happen in a universe where minerals are so scarce that they are virually non-existant? Do you honestly think that a corp will risk it's fleet of battleships or even cruisers on a war when replacements are not READILY available? So in essence, we have one route of PvP outlawed entirely, while another route of PvP is not viable because of mineral shortage for replacement ships.. so what exactly is the point? This had better be a bug, or this game will have 0 long term viability (as if it has more than that now) Frankly, they should move Bistot/Ark back into the 0.0 pirate space, where there are actually alot of stations to refine at.. and they should make it respawn every so often, not nearly as quickly as it respawned before, but some respawn at least.. at least until player stations are in or remote refine platforms. The only way we will ever get to a point where alot of corps will be comfortable fighting each other is when they have the ability to replace what is lost fairly easily... and isn't that what we all had in mind? Corp warfare raging everywhere? Of course, it's a double-edged sword at best.. without enough lack, there is nothing to fight over, but too much of it, the risk of losing expensive ships becomes too much to warrant fighting at all. -- Nyrram |

[37] rarer minerals will push ship prices up? REALLY are u on *****? this will never happen because nobody will be the first to raise their prices and they only go down. the problem with eve's free market is that nobody can ever go bankrupt like in real life, so you can sell for as little as you like with zero risk. heard some crazy crap but this takes the biscuit... stav -- "Keep On Flaming Lamers, Like Your Ships Did When We Ended You" |

[39] Nyrram, First you say the bug sill stop these massive battles occuring because it will be harder to replace ships etc.. Then you say: "Frankly, they should move Bistot/Ark back into the 0.0 pirate space, where there are actually alot of stations to refine at.. and they should make it respawn every so often, not nearly as quickly as it respawned before, but some respawn at least.. at least until player stations are in or remote refine platforms." Isn't this the same thing! Just in a different skin. The way l see it lessening the spawn of the rare minerals (as the 'bug' is doing now it would seem) will force PvP battles for control over fields that still contain anything. The Stain Alliance are probably laughing their arses off. Currently you just let them have it but soon... you will have to go there and kick them out. (Cue massive space battles). When your precious ships are destroyed, the minerals will re-enter the spawn chain and re-appear in fields all over EVE. So if you want more more minerals to spawn, get out there and kill some PC's and don't fret over your own ship, your losses will be to the good of all...how altruistic. hehe. BTW, yes this aspect would be much better with player stations...sigh. |

[41] well I can not see a great deal has been done about the rare roid spawning at all, it seems you can only get rare ore from places most people know about anyway... for instance, geminate, I have scouted for hours to find nothing above gniess. I am sure if i did find some here it would take me 10-20 odd jumps to get the ore to the closest staiton, making this mining up a LONG traul, surely an operation worth boosting the value of our ships for. |

[49] Well i run a mining corp and this interference from CCP is yet another stupid idea....prob cooked up by a dev or a dev run corp as per usual....i no longer have any faith in CCP's so called "Bright Idea's" since the whole DEV thieft/cheating scandle. My corp NEEDs the respawn days to gather ore for ship building as well as to pay my miners....this is yet more interference from CCP that i really dont need.....it was,nt long ago that they took all the ice out of verge vendor......and i said then that other ore's would be next....i think this is just the begining to force people out of high sec and in to low sec. Seems if your a pirate these days CCP hand everything to you on a silver plate, if your a so called "Carebear" they dont care how there changes effect you........pirate poo dont stink accourding to ccp....well let me tell ya somthing CCP....YES IT BLOOMIN WELL DOES!...it stinks to high heaven.....as does your plan to sort the market out. anyway end of rant for now.....lol....before i toss my pc out the window |
