i understand the risk in meeting a (-) sec rating player pirate. I can at least add to the bounty on his head if he pod kills me, but we were pod killed by players in battleships with +9.5's, where is the sense of balance in that? Eve has created untouchable criminals who kill noobs for fun.

oh yeah I forgot to add- they're also cowards- they log out when a real fight appears. (WHERE DID YA GO SHOLLOS ? HOME TO MOMMY?)

If you were podded in 0.0 space, you can retailate as long as you're strong enough without a security penalty.
0.0 space is no-man's land, and thus is ruled by whoever has the might to hold it, in that case, whoever was behind the wheel of the battlship, so you were trespassing and taking your chances anyways.
If you were podded in empire space, that battleship just went down 2 points of security rating, 2 points will probably take a month of NPC pirate fighting to regain. He can only reasonably do this 5 times even at his current positive rating, so you must have done something to right **** him off to get him to pod you in sec space.

Basically you're right Zie- cept that these guys have found a way to accelerate their ratings- they pod kill anywhere, and suffer no consequences. They didn't pod kill me- they're not that good, actually, just bozo's with tenure enough to have larger ships- a temporary situation. Cops don't attack them, guns don't shoot them, you can't even put a bounty on them, you just have to tolerate them much as you would a cancor sore. For now-

I never heard of this, so basically, you accusing them of hacking to get their Sec up to 9.5 all the time.
errr Proof? Whats the guys In game name? Screen shots?
Or were you just in 0.0 Space and got podded?
Somehow something doesnt seem right here..
Ill report this to the Dev's, then can trace the logs, check where it happened, and if they are using an exploit.

I recently destroyed a player ship in 0.0 space and took about a -0.4 security loss. I was pretty upset about that, and went to the help channel to get the official word on when sec gets hit.
Several of the volunteers told me that I will take a security hit anytime i engage hostility or destroy ships of pilots with ratings above that -5.0 regardless of where I am. Empire or non empire space.
I think this is just wrong, but whatever. Has anyone noticed different?

and his crew can be found mostly in curse region. hed-gp and a7-v27. camping stargates sometimes with 2 or 3 scorpions Bships. real winers actually. killing noobs. didnt see them using cargo pods for the lag. have no screen shots availible. but to those pirates i have a newsflash for you fellows. we are coming for you. make yourself some new scorpions youre gonne need them.

They set up a blockade in 0.0 space. The exit from jk-fix. Oddly enough the next night it was some other corp.
Either way:
1) If people are hanging by a gate they probably aren't waiting for their m8's (regardless of sec level).
2) Get a MWD and their is no such thing as a blockade :)
Anyway better luck next time. TRUST NO ONE!
