CCP PLEASE let us customize the UI Voice Notification thingies with our own .wav files! That way you can include the old voice, and release new voices, and we can pick and choose which voices we like best. And we can even subtitute in any voice of our own choosing, to make it most comfortable for our own screwed up ears. Go to your cd collection and pickup the most ears damaging album you have and play it to let all this anger go out of your body. The higher the ears damage, the more stress relieving experience you will have. After 2 years, I would say about time for some changes of the voice... Is it possible to sign a petition where you clearly express that you are against the ideas on it? That make all the petitions of the universe clearly worthless because you never see the other side of things.

Relaxing, soothing, and semi-monotone in a voice that is not too high pitched to be distracting. I would venture a bet and say that people who find it distracting are just being stubborn and refusing to even give change a chance.
