looks like a pimped out Dominix, what with the elongated shoe design.
Very nice and sleek :D now can we pls doe something about the Dominix looks ?

It's just the angle. Think it's capital ship blasters doing the bright-light effect, thus fooling the eye slightly.

Naw, it's not the angle... Open both in different windows and look at some of the features, the extended 'tail' is the biggest give-away. It's definately a new design and it looks awesome! Now I want one...

Its the angle, both those screenies where taken last night.
Also it looks longer since eve streches stuff out once it gets near the side of your screen (Try it on a small moon)
It is of course possible the devs quickly swapped models mid fight without actually giving us a patch

Yup, focal lenght distortion is one of the things that makes the EVE gfx engine so very nice.

No they didn't change the model. Wish they would, its horrible. I'm pretty sure there is a special place in hell reserved for the guy who put such a nice texture over such an ugly beast. Also the least fear-inspiring name they could have thought of.
Bleh. I'm not training for it.

Both pictures are of the same model however from different angles.
The two pictures have the ships turned in oposite directions and the second is from below.
If you look at the two pictures you will see a C-shaped thingie on both, once you have spotted this you will see alot more similarities.
