Skill at promoting your product effectively. Each level increases a remote sell orderĘs radius of effect from origin. Level 1 allows for range within same solar system, Level 2 extends that range to systems within 5 jumps, and each subsequent level then doubles it. Level 5 allows for a full regional range.
I dont have this skill, yet my other account can see my remote sell orders all the way across the region so I have not a clue how the skill works and the explanation in the text sounds like the same thing as the marketing skill.
Can anyone (especially CCP) clarify what this does?

So say you're in space mining away, and someone says "Hey, can I buy some Trit off you?" "Sure thing!" you say, but your Tritanium is several jumps away. You open your Assets window and right click to sell the item (assuming you have the skills to initiate a sell order from that far away, and it IS skill based ...). Your item's visibility is determined by the ... Visibility skill.
Sell it from the station directly (fly there and right click on the item) and the skills do not come into play.
So the visibility of things being sold *remotely* is affected by that skill. Hope that's clear.

You need a specific (other) skill in order to sell things remotely at all, right? Are you saying that, unless you have the Visibility skill in addition, anything you sell remotely won't be seen by most of the region?
I haven't got time to learn these yet, so didn't pay much attention. And admittedly, the show info descriptions could be marginally clearer than they are

They could be clearer, yes. And from what I've experienced and from what I've been told, this is hwo it's working. One skill says you can start a sale remotely from your location to this distance, another skill says from that sale location, it's visible to another distance. Weird, but hey, what else are you going to do with those skillpoints. :)
