Yep, great intro movie, many gaming sites would do well with this intro as a way to promote Eve.

Yeah, I like it a lot too. Even if there's not much actually moving in the movie - you've raised "pan and scan" to an artform :).
But seriously, it's good stuff ;).

Yeah the Intro movie is beautiful, reminds me of the Homeworld style of Movies images/paning/scanning etc rather then fancy 3D effects etc.
Beautifully done.

Oh i must agree with you guys I loved the movie it kicked ass! yes really not much moving but still was sweet will there by any chance be some more?

Damn, it looks a lot like the intro of of the Fallout series. And that's definitly a good thing

now what I think some things they should do is to get the EVE lore more wide spread (lots of players still have no clue about anything Jove or their relation to introducing pod technology and many other things in the game legends).
I really think going back and just movie-fy some of the more integral stories to "how we got here from there" to flesh out the whole EVE universe back-story would really do wonders as then people could sort of catch up on a more active history of the game rather than reading all the history up till now and end up feeling like they are stuck in history class.

I'm not getting any sound from it. Infact, I dont hear the new computer voice either... but I'm being told thats a good thing. :/

I liked the intro movie, but I had to laugh when they were talking about the first jumpgates and they showed the picture of a modern caldari gate with caldari shuttles around it.
They should have rendered a new gate and used some obscure faction ships around it.
Anyone know if it's possible to get rid of the subtitles?

Yeah, that intro rocks :D. A little more action scenes or at least in-game video clips and a little less scrolling around screenshots for the next one, perhaps? That is assuming there is going to be another video (fingers crossed).
What I particularly liked was how they read out the names of the empires. No more confusion over the pronunciation of Gallente.

TBH i really wasn't that impressed, idea great, voice over very good but panning over a bunch of 4 year old concept art....weak.

Im just happy that it didn't add considerably to the patch file size tbh :)
But i thought it was more tasteful than the mindless generic trailers you get for other games.
