There are now Tech 2 drone BPOs to be given out and many other tech 2 bpos to boot. Some lucky researchers will become billionaires over night. Congratulations.
To CCP, dont you think that is a bit lopsided and problematic? Now some people, odds are they will be some lucky people with one R&D agent rather than the really hardworking researchers, will get BPOs that will make them billionaires over night.
At any rate I wont count on buying tech 2 drones for a while as they will probably go for 10 million per acolyte 2.
That system really needs to be reworked.

IMO it works, if ther was a reward system (do this and you'll get a brand new spankingly Teh Sexxors tech II BPO) Then everyone would do it nomatter how hard it was.

Tech I and II will stay as they are, Tech III will introduce other features like overloading and overheating and be kinda the same level as T2 just with another concept, if I remember well from the last fanfest (those memories are blurry due to the alcohol involved back then, so don't quote me on that if it isn't that way when it finally comes out^^)

Yep, N.A.G.A. will probably end up with most of them as they are the only ones that can afford billions in ISK to buy them. This whole situation of making people instant billionaires just from luck needs to be reviewed seriously.

Actually u need to do ur research a bit better. NAGA dont own all those BPOs they build from. Thats what stepstone is. You give them (read: lend them) ur BPO, they research it and build from it and give u a slice (a rather large one at that) of the profits. I think u can pull ur BPO out of Stepstone at any point.
NAGA are an intelligent bunch of people. They jumped on the POS bandwagon (and run a pos trading system too afaik) as son as they were avialable and produce all their tech2 comps from POS output i believe, greatly increasing supply, and lowering costs.
Do not ever diss a bunch of people that are highly intelligent and motivated and get the job done. This is the single most reason why NAGA are the biggest + most respected tech2 producer. Cos they worked damn hard for it

I didnt "dis" anyone. Certainly not any players enterprising enough to go do it and lucky enough to get the big break. Its hardly their fault.
I merely think the system is flawed as do many other people. Lack of competition is what has kept tech 2 prices quite near the rediculous margin.

Well, I think N.A.G.A. is respectful organization. At least they will be able to put out reasonable prices. I dont object to NAGA but to the whole BPO system. That system is hardly your guys fault. It would be like blaming pre-nerf target painter users for the fact that target painters were overpowered.
I used them then and If I were in your corp, I would plan on making billions. I just think CCP needs to review this system.
