Got this mission like 60 minutes ago from my Level agent. Went in with a Dominix to see what it is all about. I thought it can¦t be that tough as it only said 300k ISK in reward and 570 LP, so more like a medicore Lvl 3 mission.
Then i entered the complex. To my surprise i saw a spawn consisting of 2 BS¦s, 4 cruisers, 5 scramblers and 5 regular frigs. Ok no problem so far, killed them and saw the additional gate getting a bit confused on the 40 Minutes bonus timer .... Jumped into the second stage to be greeted by 6 sentry guns and like 2 or 3 missle batteries. Lurking behind them my sensors indicated ~ 5 BS¦s, 10 cruisers and maybe 15 frigates.
So my question is ..... where is the relationship between risk and reward here ??

I think the new missions have a pretty low reward as long as no one have failed it.
I noticed that when i failed the new lvl4 rogue drone mission, and then got the same mission again, the rewards were 3 times more than the first time i got it.

if its a lvl 3 petition it as a bug, if its a lvl 4 sounds about standard to me.

The reward is a joke and i just lost a tightly fitted Megathron to the mission rats that i have been able to tank easily before that. Light Missles and Heavy Missles hitting for insane damage ^^
That does it for me. I think CCP overdid it at this point !

Now you see why I wait a few days after big patches to do ANY missions. Let y'all get ganked and test the new missile changes then read about it.
Guess I learned a few things in 2 years.

Have a guess ... this mission spawns at the second stage SIX Commander Battleship NPC¦s (usually 5 Mil bounty ones). They agress you in groups of 3 ^^ in addition to the frigs and cruisers. I guess not the missle nerf killed me but the insane mission setup.

Yep I just got owned by this mission 6bs 12 cruiser 14 frigs agrro in 1 group not samller groups and of course i get caught by the scrambler frigs so pop goes my apoc, not complaining thou pls under stand this casue i should know better than to do missions so soon after the patch :P
Am just wondering if the should have all aggroed like that or they should have been in smaller groups
a answer from a gm/dev would be nice to clear up the problem casue if they do all aggro well then your going to need a fleet to do that mission

your only getting 300k for the lvl4 mission?
i've just got 200k for a lvl2 deadspace which only had some rouge drones and the boss was in a frigate

I lust lost an Apoc and a Guardian to this mission. My rewards would have been about the same as you listed. I have to say, I've been doing lvl 4 missions for about a month now and I haven't been very impressed with them. Most of the BS's wouldn't even drop a can when they were destroyed. Tonight I killed 3 Bloodraider Armageddons, 10 Blood Mallers and 2 Blood transport ships and of the 15 ships 5 dropped a can(3 cruisers and 2 transports). In my opionion, 0.0 hunting is alot more fun and rewarding to do than lvl 4 missions.

The mission briefing does say this:
My superiors told me to find somebody competent to deal with the threat, and that's why I'm
asking you. I suggest you find someone to help you with this, as I fear you will not return
should you go alone.
Bah, I'll give it a shot and come and cry if I lose my ship. Having said that Zrakor's current stance is that these missions should be soloable...

Enough missions state " I Hope you can make it back in one piece " or something like that. The mission reward is borked and lures you into a false safety. In addition NPC¦s changed like i pointed to in another thread.

I'm well aware what other missions state. This one says something different and very specific though.
I replied about this mission in your other thread anyway. Felt it was appropriate enough there.

this mission is tough, and if it wasnt' for a friend telling me that it was very tough, I might have lost my ship. I came prepared in my Apoc and did defeat it. Had to warp out once, but it is doable. But for the love of god adjust the reward/LPs.
If you weren't able to do the toughest missions before patch w/ full tank, then skip this one for a while. It can be tough.

Looks like CCP got it fixed LP wise. Did it again last night for about 4500 LPs.
Much 'easier' once you have run it one or two times. I use 'easier' in the lightest sense tho....

I think it is a very cynical ploy to make this mission so difficult, but apparently easy with low reward and short time scale. I lost my Apoc in the same way as you other guys but I agree i should have known better than to try a new mission so soon after the patch
