With over 20 pirate ships (corp. names not included) in the HED-GP system attacking lone wolves as they travel through =) . But once a group of ships come to visit these pirates, they logged off. Here is one squad looking for their welcome mat, but the pirates seemed to have closed up shop for a few hours =)
I love this game, as many bad things people say about PC Pirates, they give an element to the game I enjoy. I look forward to more encounters in the future with PC pirate corps. I am sure after all the trash talk both sides dished out during this Standoff, the pirates had a little fun too =)
See you out there, Cheers

It would be nice if you elaborated on how many ships actually appeared. Saying more than one is a bit vague.
1. Number of ships? 2. Types of ships?
I find it very hard to believe that 20 ships logged off because, say 2 ships appeared, which is the impression you wanted to give.

And that's maybe the difference between you and the pirates. When we move 20+ ships, we get some destroyed :P.

Molly, the Stain Alliance has IMO the biggest military in EVE. the pirates new they could not win so they logged or ran off. and this group of stain members is nothing to what would be put together for a full out war. |

I hate to break it to you lads, but most smart pirates won't stay and fight. Wheres the profit in it? By the time most groups get a fleet assembled we've already made several million in equipment, isk, or trade goods.
So I ask you, how effective is chasing off the pirates after they've made thier money? Yippee, you broke the blockade after 3 hours or whatever.

heh, as usual, a highly one sided version of events.
The number of kills last night was through the roof, but did include two battleship kills. Our loses were zero.
At the end of the night this horde assembled, but never came. They had probably better then 30 ships to our 10 and would not make a move. We waited and waited. We even warned them that if they didnt come soon we were gonna be logging. Sill nothing. So we left. The problem with these multi guild alliances is that nobody wants to take the brunt of the damage by jumping in first. They knew as well as we did that the fight was already decided, we couldnt possible win, but they also knew that the first 5 ships to jump in where toast including at least one of their battleships.
Kinda like pointing a six shooter at a crowd of a dozen attackers. Sure you can't kill them all, but who wants the first bullet?

Quit being a idiot, molly. You know as good as I that they still can kill some scouts before the main pirate force realizes that this catch is a little too big for them and retreats with their tails between their legs...

I think the point is it is mostly wannabe pirate corps and it's members complaining about pvp and fighting in this game YET when given a fight or challenge by someone their size or bigger they hide like the carebears they so scream about :).

Hehehe, Let me break it down a little more (Molly is so cute when she is angry) *blows a kiss toward Molly* 1. Number of pirates 2. Pirates Kill lone players 3. SA gets a few ships together for some Chest thumping :) 4. SA confronts Pirates 5. SA kills a few pirates 6. Pirates and SA exchange words 7. Pirates log off. 8. We kept the blockade down for a few hours 9. Some lone wolfs lived to see another day :)
Any questions my sweetheart, I am sure you do Cutie =)

We have camped three jump point since Friday night and the total kill count is easily 50+ yesterday alone there ware 20 dead ships in HLW, 20 dead ships in U-QVWD, and 20 dead in sv5.
We DID stay and fight the first force that came and killed literally 80% of them when they straggled through the gate individually.

First, his message wasn't there when I wrote my part.
Second, just because he writes that it doesn't neccessarily means that it' the truth. Most pirate posts I've seen in the forums tried to spread misinformation instead of facts.
And, third, I haven't called you and an idiot because you were doubting the "truth" of the first posting, but because you were playing dumb and twisted the words of the previous posters :p

Thats almost as bad as the guy who bragged about 'beating the ****' out of The Gang when we were all pirating in frigates :-/.

Napalm do you know what 'revisionist history' means?
We had 10 ships. 6 battleships, 4 cruisers. You had 28 or so at your gate, including four battleships. We'd sent ships to the planet next to it to user a scanner.
We waited for a long time for you to warp in and attack. And you were like "waa waa we already lost 2 battleships earlier" or something. I dunno why you didn't attack. I'd like you to explain it.
Anyway, we waited for over an hour. Then we told you "hey if you don't attack in 10 minutes we're leaving and logging because it's late and we're tired." And you didn't. So we left and logged.
You then took that opportunity to warp in and take your 'victorious' screenshot. You are a retard.

Like Gauss said dude, we did wait there in the same system for over 2 hours for you to come fight us, you had atleast double our numbers, probably more. Half of the corp is British, by that time it was 5am and we couldnt wait any longer, I could hardly stay awake so half of us logged. we did tell you we were logging if you didnt come and fight us

Sorry to dissapoint you Napalm but like j0rt said it was very late. We'd already satisfied our bloodlust earlier when we destroyed 2 battleships and countless cruisers belonging to Independant Miners Guild and The fenix alliance among others. Its amazing how people try and twist things to make themselves look good :/

j0rt has a point, alot of you yankee doodles, foget alot of us live in the UK, i live in the UK and when my corp decides to go on a mission they foget im like 6 to 7 hours ahed of there time, i have litterally fallen asleep before now while blocading, luckily i didnt loose my ship.
And another thing, you boast about how they all logged off, **** i dont blame them, half asleep and outnumbered like 3 to 1, all you pirate hunters brag about how you own, or how we were chicken, id like to see what you would do if m0o warped to your home system or mining location outnumbering you 3 to 1, i dont think youd be sticking around for very long!

i don't understand what all the arguing is about. this is how pirating is supposed to work. pirates prey on the weak and helpless. they never willingly go into a fight they can't win, they usually don't have the support necessary to suffer big losses.
if you want to catch a big group of blockading pirates, then you've got to patrol every night. send disposable scouts out looking for a blockade and have a fleet waiting. amassing a fleet AFTER a blockade has been discovered and expecting to take be able to kill all the pirtes is silly.
