Yeah that was a bit ridiculous. 1 System out it took 14 minutes to get from gate to gate and jump to asakai in a frigate. (whoring purposes) When i entered sys there were 400-500 on field. Dc'd of something on grid load from jumping- was warped 1m off the Okka gate. Then warped to the multiple cynos on field. By then theres 700 local. I started my whoring bit, was tackled by a sabre and it spent the next 30 minutes killing me.
Meanwhile i attempted to lock up a few titans obviously dying. Got several messages saying i could not lick something 140km out- though these targets were 12km. Helplessly watched those explode. Continued waiting for the sabre to kill me. Got bored deleted implants and logged out. Local was at 1850 at that time.
If not for the titans and supers on the field id have not been there- was unplayable. |

Was pretty laggy, before hte node was remapped it was 6-8 minutes to activate a module/lock a target.
Other than that, was an epic fight. DnD and FATE + friends monopolised on the CFC fail titan jump initially with bumps on the lev and a rapid reship for all the non logis in fleet to hics as hostile and temp blue supers filled the grid!
Also, can someone please put more hic hulls on the market in jita, we might have cleared it out mid fight :) |

We got as far as Okkamon or wherever, and spent 45 minutes trying to get to the sun to murder pods. Lagged to death on jumping gate, and rebooted. Landed on grid with 530 in local 1 jump out, and 60 on grid. Tried warping sun. Succeeded after the node was rebooted. Got a couple of pods, and a ruppy and snake pod (he going to be angreh). But overall, disappointing trip. The lag started at the edge of the constellation, in Kedama area, 5 jumps out.
Taking submissions for "Trinkets friendly Advice Column" via evemail or private convo in-game. Anonymity sorta guaranteed.

Don't have accurate numbers, but local peaked around 2800 pilots with over 200 supercarriers and my earlier counts had over 250 carriers and 100 dreads plus hundreds of subcaps.
The story behind the fight is pretty much a hotdrop gone wrong, followed by a massive escalation and series of batphones bringing in pilots from all corners of eve including my own carrier tagging along on a 6 jump cyno chain with 150+ others.
Still waiting for battle reports and killmails to be posted, but initial reports are 3 titans down along with a handful of supercaps and assorted carriers/dreads. Losses are around 600 bil so far according to killboards, but expected to go higher |

was crusing around like 4 jumps away on my alt when someone sent me a link to twitch where the battle was live. figured i could aswell jump in there and have a look... took me 10 min first to jump in to system, another 5 min to load.
and warped with the feeling that i was in some sort of gel or glue, anyway when i finally reach the place i was hit by insane freezelag but managed to take a screenshot before i logged out...

lag was epic however it was all cool i had a few everclears and 7up while waiting then shot fireworks at a few Super caps managed to jam out a couple carriers (shocked myself and probably pissed off a couple people) flew through a capital smartbomb lived and still managed to make it back to Hek safely. All in all good night.
Oh, Do go on... no seriously ive got nothing better to do then listen to all the petty arguments and feeble trolling attempts...-á
The sad thing is i'm not sure if i'm telling the truth. |

I've love for us to take credit for the batphone, but all we did was get a "maybe" response... never expected them to actually show up, certain as hell didn't expect that sort of escalation over a small tower which amazingly was still standing until a moment ago.
Was a good night in all, we had a fun engagement that started it all off (even if it didn't go our way) that led to something epic.
Shame Snuffbox are sat on the field now, would've been nice to be able to loot it all. Could've helped fund some good ship replacement for a while, but oh well.
Still this all has been awesome, can certainly say when we were talking about getting a fight out of that Tower little did we know what would happen. Hell, if we had can tell you we'd have likely had Hictors and Neut / Disco Battleships on stand-by instead of just a couple of AHACs
I'm looking forward to more engagements soon... although think we should try to keep it to a more reasonable number of ppl next time lol |

Rifter down, get Kestral into low armor and a sliver of structure but asb runs out of charges. Oh well . .
Go back in a Maulus. If I'm going to have to solo dplex I might as well have the runaway option . . what ? really ? No that's just bullshitting in militia chat. Ok maybe it's for real. I guess if I'm going to ***** on this titan kill I'd better get going  YEEEEEHAAARR

Welp, this has been fun, sorta. And, I'm tired of damping drams and ceptors that appear to be getting close. The system says 10% tidi but it seems to be moving like 1%. 1500 in local. Time to leave this mess. Thanks for the memories.

Tried hunting last night, went to Okkamon, had lag, ran into a Daredevil, after five minutes of locking I finally locked and scrammed him. Before my guns even got half-way through their cycle he warped off. You know what's worse than trying to fighting lag and TiDi? Watching a stabbed Daredevil get away in said lag and TiDi.
Liandri, next time you need to yell at Templis and company. I didn't even know what was going on until I saw alliance chat going crazy and people asking if they should fleet up. Could've made a nice small fleet of discophoons.

British Telecom decided this would be a good time to take down my dsl line, watching kills pop up on boards as i watched on my Iphone.

Call went out for Carriers and Dreads to get in the fight. By the time I got the message, the fight was already ongoing for some time. Titans were being pulled out because of no DDs and we were told we were going to die repping the SCs and Titans/killing hictors. This was a one way fight.
Got my Thanatos fit, joined fleet, undocked and cynoed in. Plan was to drop fleet for more ships to get to the cynos and start repping and killing. Never happened as Tidi was in full force. Grid never loaded for me. At that point the Titans and SCs had made it out and we were told not to try to log in again as the fight was over at that point. A little over 2 hours staring at screens.
Logged out and starting checking killboards for myself. If I never loaded grid or no one shot me, I should have logged out "instantly". Luckily I lived and was able to cyno out after the fight had died down. If I had been shot, it would have been 2 hours or more until I actually logged out so I would have been dead. |

It seems our camp was a poorly kept secret.
One stabby geddon jumped in for some awesome and left the party early (he must not have like splosions) - no one else came to join the party.

Black Legion was in the process of moving dreads across eve when we got word of the battle in progress. We were only one hop away and jumped in when there were only 600 folks yet on grid. The lag, of course, was horrible. And my crappy internet service didnt help things (i live in a extremely rural part of the US), Quickly things escalated to 2700 or more on grid with us. I disconnected while in siege and it took like 20 minutes or so to log back in and load grid. Then the first guy i tried to lock up after that was Mr. McNasty's Nyx. It took me nearly 30 minutes to achieve target lock. By then he had already been dead for ten minutes and they were shooting something else already.
Was an epic fight. |

Raven - We passed the request on to TD from Sergei Alexi dated (2013.01.26 03:13) when he reached out to us. That communication to TD was at (2013.01.26 18:35). Seeing the scheduled time of the POS Defense was 01:00 EVE this was plenty of time to spread the news. Since CCDM was located in your locale it made sense to support you. No questions asked as it was the right thing to do for the betterment of relations. Any questions about whether we did the right thing should be displayed in our actions. Disappointing that this medium is being used for speculation and your self-gain. Even more so when you think about the fact that you needed support and we had no issue rising to the occasion. We have yet to receive a thanks for our efforts in the defense of your POS. Tragic.
