hi
im not here to complain bout the missile nerf just a question about it
this is the same render drone 37km out
2005.07.07 15:07:54 combat Your Scourge Heavy Missile I hits Render Drone, doing 18.1 damage.
2005.07.07 15:08:09 combat Your Scourge Heavy Missile I hits Render Drone, doing 121.2 damage.
the drone was moving towards me in a straight line and i dont think it slowed down
can any1 explain y the damage is so random? i got another 100 logs of the smae thing happening all the time to me

OH I thought this was a "bump free zone", maybe the drone did a little shake and bake and you only thought it was moving in a straight line, ask Oveur when the re-align sight adjustment skills will be on the market, till then practice leading your targets.
If you can't find any drones I hear small concord ships will suffice.
Faulty testing kept me from delivering the "Logic Editor" earlier.
I was using my own post and it kept blanking everything out.

ive heard that depends how fast the ship moves the damage it will do and also the size of the ship.If your fighting frig use light missiles and cruiser heavys and BS torps and also use the right damage type to the ship ur fighting.

There's some sort of random element in missile damage now.
If I fire a full volley of cruise missiles at 1 target and it's heading at me... some of the missiles hit for 130 damage the rest will hit for 400...
OR they'll all hit for 50

orvus as u can c it was the same target with the same missile at almost the same rang (give or take 1-2km from the first hit)
i doubt the drones were dancing on the way to me :P and i doubt they changed speed/course
i think its random atm
