Bah i don't know any london based eve players, most of my corp is US based which is unfair as i don't get to meet certain ones (you know who you are) but a london meet sounds interesting.

Eve Radio has already began preparations for a gathering up in Pontefract, near Leeds? I believe? Its a ticket only event.

There a need to meet right in Central London so everyone can get there easily?
Around Leicester Square is somewhat of tourist trap & prices are well rude even for someone like me who lives just sounth of the river.
Camden(North) or Brixton(South) have nice yoofish scenes with a variety of bars & clubs for those wanting to carry on afterwards.

Well i live in east london so anywhere is good :)
Not a massive drinker and infact i get drunk a little easy so who knows could be good entertainment :p

I would suggest taking over the Chandos (or however you spell it) just up from Trafalger Square/Charing Cross but that might leave out some of the younger players I guess. Plus Chandos has reasonable prices (round for well less than a tenner when I was there a few weeks ago)
I went to the last London event, there seemed to be a good turnout from Sharks there ... might have to catch a train this time so I can drink

Back in my glory days I used to organize Dark Age meets in London. The venues I used was Cittie of Yorke (beautiful place) in Charring Cross and the Sussex House (where the last London meet was). I recommend Cittie of Yorke because its decently priced, they are used to gamers and have lovely food.

Sorry I can't help organize anything seeing I am traveling around this summer and won't be back til the Iceland meet. If the London meet is before mid October I hope you have a nice time

Hey i know atleast 3 female eve players and this has been confirmed with the TS test :)
So they do play eve but they are just not as common as us guys.
And also i don't care when it is, just don't get me drunk or who knows what could happen

Right -
Of course central london is nice and slighty pricey !
However there are quite a few nice parts to london including the south and south west of richmond/ kingston et al !
Down by the river - pimms and lemonade !
I will do a bit of research and post back some venues that may be of intrest and look at dates and times !

what we need now is a venue willing to be over-run by eve playing nerds and nerdettes that might also have some form of drink, we also needs dates (no not those fugly little black fruit things) for when we are gonna do this :)
