My corp is considering starting on a capital ship component to build freighters, are there 4 other corps that are doing the same and we can all trade BPCs to build. contact me ingame if your corp or individuals are interested

Hello Sir,
JEDI corp is manufacturing the Propulsion Engines and we belong to a small group that will start production of Freighters in a near future. We are however not sure if we ever will make BPCs since our Propulsion Enginge parts BPO will be rather busy in production most of the time.. We are of course interested to hear your deal and what BPO you have to offer.

The FIRMA TECH corporation, in affiliation with many outside investors, both private and corporate, will start the production of capital ships and parts too. FIRMA TECH is an offshoot of the FIRMA corporation that raises the capita needed to construct capital ships by selling its shares to investors. The profits, once they start coming in, are released as dividends to shareholders.
For those who are familiar with the FIRMA INVESTMENT BANK (or FRM-B) the underlying principle is similar, only the business the money comes from is different.
One FIRMA TECH share costs one Million ISK and there is a total of 25 000 shares (total of 25 Billion ISK) in circulation. This system, although not common in the world of EVE, allows individuals and corporations that do not have enough to start production themselves to invest in the business. Currently, around one third of the shares have already been sold and invested, but more investors are required.
The ultimate goal is to be able to manufacture all capital components and at least the Gallente freighter and two different dreadnaugts.
Investing in FIRMA TECH does not require you to join any other corporation or put any extra work in. FIRMA TECH (which acts purely as a medium and does not participate in any way in the actual research/manufacture/sale process) will contract other corporations for the tasks needed.
I cannot at this point speculate on the rate of return that FIRMA TECH will be able to offer its investors, as the capital ship industry is new and quite high-risk.

One thing to remember is that it takes about 3x-4x as long to make a bpc as it does to produce the item.
For those of us that have a component bpo (i have the capital cargo bpo) but do not have all of them, it would be a good idea to make deals to produce the items for other bpo holders in the system they need it. They would do the same. Of course time required for the different items varies greatly and isk would need to make up the balance.

I have a construction parts BPO at ME 14. Contact me for deals . Copying takes too long compared to building. As long as I can reach you from my HQ (Jel) via SL >0.4 I can bring the BPO to your station and build there.

Looking to trade Armor Plates for all the rest of the components of a Freighter (per WTT Topic. Also will be willing to trade parts for the Freighter BPO owner to come build the gallente freighter at our 0.9 system once we have all the parts.
