Just wanted to hear on the forums (couldnt find a support forum) before i made a ticket as that can take some time and maybe this is working as intended or something of a normal problem.
Whenever i rightclick in space or any other kind of dropdown menu it randomly closes at random intervals, it can take as short as 1 second and the whole menu closes before i can even react to click anything planned, sometimes it can close later and very rarely it doesnt close at all, rarely. now this is annoying especially when i right click in space and want to warp to or dock somewhere as i cant even get to the second dropdown option before the whole thing closes on me.
I have no problems with any other game since my first reaction was that it had to be a software problem or the mouse itself clicking somehow.
Atm if i find myself in need to align and warp somewhere fast because of gatecamp or something i have to use the overview and click the target windows, whereas i find it much more convinient to find the place faster to align to according to my ship by clicking the brackets in space, but with this problem its too unreliable as it is :( |

Are your graphics drivers up to date? I'd suggest checking all your drivers, maybe reinstalling Eve, and then creating a support ticket. Good luck!

Sounds like a mouse issue, to be honest.
Right-click on icons in Windows, see if you can reliably use the right-click menu without it disappearing. |

Same problem here. Forces me to put nearly everything into my overview.
It's not a mouse issue, and it's not a graphics issue. Something else is going on here. |

This happens to me as well. but only in jita. everywhere else seems just fine. |

I've not used a razor mouse...although I have heard NUMEROUS complaints about it within the eve forums...it tends to double click even when you only click it twice.
That is my best assumption as to what is causing your windows to close.

I am using the Deathadder and I have not had any issues with it. My suggestion would be to try updating your drivers as mentioned above but it seems from Sarge Ironside that it might not be the issue.
Fire away your petition, I'd say, and hope CCP knows the answer.

I only notice this a lot un-docking in Jita, though I suspect it happens whenever someone enters the system or grid. |

I get that too in Jita, sometimes. When I get it, I get it consistently, right-clicking in space causes the menu to appear but then disappear again instantly. Every time. Same if I try to right-click on stuff in my Assets window.
Usually when I visit Jita the problem isn't there, though, so I suspect it might have something to do with Jita's server sometimes being overloaded. |

I've noticed closing if if there is a moving object behind the selection window. i.e. Leaving a station, move your ship view to space instead of having the moving station in the background. This always works for me. |

me too, only in Jita. may a server issue because of lags? |

yupp. jita.. every single time these days, my poor undock point is now useless :( and when you need to gtfo pretty quickly because of some minor misunderstandings with concord in the past. Seriously it wasn't my fault! the guns opened fire on their own, i swear it must have been a computer virus. |

It's not just Jita, it happens occasionally on the Rens VI - 8 undock if there's a lot of people on grid and I've seen it happen on the Amarr undock as well. It's just one of those things, zooming out and reclicking generally overcomes it.

yea i found it was just generally crowded places, trade hubs especially when undocking, zooming out (like faaaaar away) and clicking in a totally empty space usually helps me as it seems (to me at least) its whenever there is something in the background of my screen behind the current popupmenu that moves that causes the menu to close. |

I have this issue with my trader. Any time a market order gets updated and my transaction log does something, the UI refreshes and cleans out any context menus.
This is THE reason why I do not do any sell/buy orders with my PvP alt. |
