Howdy!
Let me introduce myself, I am Doctor Caldari and I arrived today. My family has some experience in New Eden.
I have this nifty device known as a Cerebral Accelerator (330m ISK @ Jita) plugged into my implant slot 4.
Have a full set of Standard Implants, can make a jump clone but can't with 30 days (until the Cerebral Accelerator
runs out) and will install L5 implants then with the 1st Jump Clone holding the current L3's.
My focus is on bringing Science, Research and Laboratory to L5, then Research Project Manager to L4-5.
The only ship training will be for a Heavy Missile Launcher II, etc. top L2 level Drake and a Badger Mark II. Ability to
solo all L3 missions.
Question?
Aside from racking up research ability through skills at L5 and L4 agents visited daily, Corporation standings
as fast as possible through missions, what other things if any should a new Doctor representing a Nation focus on?

If you're going for R&D agents, train Social V, Negotiation V, and Connections IV ( preferably V ). Social & Connections will help your standings grind go faster and Negotiation will give you higher rewards during your missions AND more research points per day. You don't have to do combat missions, you can do courier missions. I am currently grinding up an alt's standings with courier missions ( fleet mission reward sharing will share some standings gains ).
Datacore farming is a purely passive thing. After you have it set up, you forget about it for a while then cash in. So, expect to do something else after you have it going.
Also, check this site out for the most profitable datacores you can do and what skills to aim for. Keep in mind that it changes over time, it's up to you to switch or just wait until your preferred datacore bounces back. |

just to let you know, that site has been reported by multiple people for malware.
Edit: if you visited that site, be sure to get your computer cleaned of herpes and your passwords changed |

Thank you for all of your replies. I have clicked the LIKE for each of you. I did learn by each answer and it is appreciated. I have unaware of the Skill Negotiation and it's value so I have it training as well.
