pfft, if anything the scorpion is overpowered, setup right they are unstoppable.

I aggree Scorpion is the only Battleship that can bring any other Battleship to its feets. I just got a Scorpion, and went to engage with gate campers. When i approached at the pirates I immediately ECM Jammed a MOA, Webief+Warp Scrambled other Thorax and easily took out one Tristan and Thorax within no time, but MOA manged to slip away.
With 8 Mid slots this Battleship u can easily use all the defense Modules. But this ship got has v low Armor and structure so it totally depends on Shield(or shield hardners). Also only 4 Turrets slots, many people dislike it. I found it a great Battleship for solo activities too, on the other hand u cant take ure Battleship like Megathorn out there alone without any escort.
But CALDARI likes to make their ships HANDI CAP, MISSING LEFT HAND?. Amy

I don't think the Scorpion should be nerfed, I don't think it's overpowerd. It's simply the best *PvP* ship out there.
Only in the hands of smart players is the Scorpion truly powerful, only when you use it's EW capabilities to their fullest does it even have a chance against an Apocolypse.
I'm glad to see that the super ships with tons and tons of firepower aren't always the "best". Without EW, the Apoc and Megathron would be the only two ships worth using, that would be pretty boring.
And for what it's worth, gallante/amarr ships are superior miners. Caldari ships have no really good mining capabilities. If that's your kind of thing of course.
Mimnatar I'd say are the middle of the road, they have their speed, and now they have a ROF bonus, and the Tempest has a dmg bonus. Probably not bad ships.

I do agree with the op. Amarr has the gamewinning Apocalypse, a pure solowtfpwnmobile. Gallente could use some love!

The only thing different with the apoc is dronebay?pfft,how about the mega does about twice the dps.
Geddon is slightly true,its difficult to pvp with only 3 mids however which leaves you either lacking a web or a mwd...Oh and the mega has 7 lows not 6,the hyperion has 6.
You didn't notice that this thread is from 2003 did you?
