What people must understand is take into consideration of your situation. nothing makes me more happy than to smoke a 18 month old pirate flying a Wolf, when im only 5 months old. personally, when i get randsomed, i send 10 isk, then laugh, and reactivate all gun. if i go down, then i go down, o well. the important thing to remember is to look at your situation and see what work s for you. I realize that being a pirate is a real job in eve (although i find there profession distastefull, and despite what many of you say, almost all pirates are scum) and there are decent pirates out there. What the idiots who post on this forum who are like 2 years old, who beleive that they cant be pwned need to remember is that what goes around comes around...thanks for reading.

Honestly, Im a newb who flys all the way out to 0.1 without instas and im unharmed all the times *waits as all pirates add me to buddy list*. Dont ask me why, my corp says im extremely lucky. Heres my plan/input at what I will do with my first ransom.
-If pirate is polite ill pay the ransom
-if pirate blows me up after getting ransom ill never pay ransom again
of course the above apply only if the ransom is reasonable of course. I mean if im flying a merlin and the pilot asks me for 5 mil or something ill just start shooting/running. As for pirates being scum, from what I hear from various people, those s******dly folk arent too bad. Doesnt mean I wont go out guns a'blazin though
