Any way I can opt-out of seeing any that these worms say in local? I feel insulted, to say the least, to share my local with console gamers.

I must admit an option to turn them off would be appreciated.
I find them mostly ..annoying.
I'm not really interested what happens on the playstation network, how a game is for a console I will never own or who can make the coolest l33tspeak in channel.

I for one embrace our console brethren as what is good for dust is also good for us. Also if you think local is bad where you are may I suggest you come to Test space and try it out for a day =P. |

First of all, it's not your 'LOCAL'.
Second, at least it's got more 'ACTION' to it now.
Third, drop the attitude and maybe you'll enjoy 'LIFE' a bit more.
I welcome our little DUST brothers to Eve every time I see them in LOCAL chat. I've even had a few good convos with them as well.
I think it's great, being able to easily communicate in real time / no delay with others in-game who are using another completely different game platform.

when your actually looking for EVE players and skim through local the damn dust bunnies are a pain... |

I never said I was leaving this game nor do I have a fetish for Incarna. I started playing this game due to it being set in a futuristic space environment with space ships. I never even knew about Ambulation until CCP Dev's posted their vision of turning Eve Online into a virtual reality sci-fi simulation. I like to think that one day CCP will eventually see their vision come to life, unfortunately it'll never happen as long as biased prejudiced bigots are allowed to post threads like this.
As for you not wanting to see Dust Mercs in Local Chat Channels, too freaking bad. Get over it or learn how to operate the chat settings.
Better yet, since you obviously have an issue with this, go post this in the 'Issues, Workarounds & Localization' sub-forum.
