Were a INDU corp and were being dec'ed by some 3 small corps that are imo are weak PVP'ers wanting easy kills. In our corp were a few old players that are doing mining and trading so we cant PVP cuz we have no expirience in it.
2nd were helping like 10 ppl newbies that have just started playing EVE online.
Thay killed a few newbies where thay are using Hurricane, Legion and Tengu o.O so there is no way in hell we can fight back. All this does for us is that we cant do anything other than leave the corp.
Is that really our only option left, to leave the corp ? would love to pay someone to help us but ppl want more ISK than we can pay cuz again were a newbie INDU corp.
To that i can say its high sec war and very sad for Trail members :(
Plz do not answer if u just wanna call us Noobs and weak....we know we are noobs and weak ^^ thats way i ask for help
If anyone wants names of the corps and players that are attacking the newbies ill post'em |

PVP experience comes only from PVP. Jump the hump of panicing when you loose ships...Im sure you have some good tanking skills being old indy chars...so get in something you can afford to loose get your noobs in frigates and go roll with the guys deccing you. Its a good learning experience and its fun as hell... |

Ty for the advice. But having the noobs just getting poped by the - Hurricane, legion or Tengu - seems pointless. And ya true i could tank'em for lil while but woulden be able to take them down.
But i think ill try....it is highsec war i can allways just dock....lol |

One constant rule of Eve is people will show up for easy kills and usually avoid tough kills. If you continue to attempt to kill them, they will continue to war dec you to farm you. Learning PvP is an noble quest but doing so in the middle of a war dec is a great way to lose the newbies when they quit.
Two options that usually work. Sit quiet for a week. Don't feed kills, don't smack in local, nothing. Remove their fun and they move on.
The second is to move everyone to another corp. This has the downside of being possibly redecced.
War decs do not last forever..... anymore. They will get bored and move on. Just keep those newbies' spirits high and they'll do fine. |

As Soft said, keep your guys quiet for a week. Have them plug in longer skills that will take up a week and encourage them to do other things in that time.
When I first started EVE I was in a similar corp, none of the members were really pvpers and so when we'd get wardecced, they had us stay docked up for a week and not interact with the deccers and sure enough, they always moved on. It's boring for that week, sure, but it beats having your morale bashed in by more experienced players.
Make sure to add the members of the wardeccing corps to your watch list so your guys can at least do something when none of them are online. Hey! You're no zombie! |

Short term laying low may work, but the game isn't free-99. Open your dec 2 allies - there are alot of corps that will piggy back your dec for the lols. Long term train up an alt (if you can) so that can still make isk and enjoy the game while your main hibernates. Whatever you - don't give em easy kills. As long as they don't blow anything up - they will loose money. In addition, grow some teeth by doing some pew - as long as peeps see you as weak - the dec's will continue.
As long as you live in high, expect this cycle to be possible. Eves a bully verse. |

Give them a smack-down pancake. You're the boss here, you see - they THINK you are noobs. That is your advantage, now destroy them. |

Train everyone into cheap, disposable Ewar ships (I recommend the Mallus/Celestis for sensor dampening ranged hostiles and the Griffin/Blackbird for maximum ECM rage tears). After a few engagements your hostiles will give up due to frustration. Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective. |

Trying to deffend yourself in high sec is failed effort from start. Let concord do it for you. They are much better at it. Founding hi-sec corp is also fail.
To sum it: pluses of hi-sec player corp: - you can build poses in 0.7- systems minuses of hi-sec corp: - you can and will be be wardecced - you can be scammed, robed and killed by malicious corp joiners - directors can rob you properly on corp taxes
Best way to have hi-sec corp is stay in npc corp and found your own TS3, mumble or jabber to maintain your social group by out of game means.
Player corp is viable only for alts living permanently out of hi-sec. Most of null/wh corps must also have npc corp alts to maintain hi-sec logistic operations.
Anyways corp for noobs should be lead by veterans. You should consider joining some noob friendly nullsec alliance. null is currently much safer than hi-sec for PvE operations (mining, ratting). |

Shah hits the nail on the head here.
ECM is a great force multiplier, a newbie pilot in a griffin is great for turning the tide of war.
I started out just like you guys, tried to mind my own business but after 2 or 3 of these wardecs, I decided to fight back. Not only did we beat the wannabe bullies, I learned that PvP is a whole lot more fun that shooting rocks. That was way back in 2008, I've been playing eve on my terms ever since. Stand up to them, you are not helpless. There are more solutions than hiding in station. Grab a few griffins and one dps ship between you. The tears from these jerks will be the sweetest nectar you will taste.
Show me your war face and go get 'em !! |

Some advices: Do not fly what you cannot afford to loose. Always scout ahead. Deny the aggressors targets, hit and run, never engage in long fights if you do not have skilled PVP pilots.
And last: do not quit, stand up and fight! Loose cheap ships, learn to fight, enjoy the cruel game! |

Consider moving to low-sec. Make friends. Consider recruiting more pilots or changing the direction of your corporation.
There are many, many things to do in EVE. Create your own content. |

What about going to live in Solitude for a bit, that tends to annoy those types of corps as they have to go through low sec or null sec to get to you. And the suggestion of hanging out in low sec or NPC 0.0 is also an option. |

I fully support low-sec mining, it is a hilarious exercise.
Put your noobs in ventures, make sure they mine ALIGNED to the station, and are able to warp out when you get ganked.
Get your older characters into crazy-tanked hulks or barges, pack lots of drones. Warrior 2s work well against interceptors/oversized-afterburners.
A mining op in low-sec is essentially bait! You lure in trigger happy pirates looking for easy kills, and gank them back with your drones. Make friends with other "good" corps in the area, or join low-sec industrial alliances to stand a better chance.
The staple of low-sec survival is warp-core stabs, use them liberally.
If your enemies adapt to this, then stop fitting the stabs, do your travelling in pvp fits. You may want to consider the mighty battle-badger!
Losing ships may hurt your newbies alot. Consider having a replacement program for all your smaller ships: ventures, barges, t1 frigs and cruisers. Being able to reship will stop desperate noobs for rage-quitting.
Whether you fight or run, YOU WILL LOSE SHIPS. But it's infinitely more fun to take the enemy down with you. |
