As the story unfolds and the comments come rolling in, I've come to realise that even someone who you know is a complete moron and out of his depth...can totally suprise you with how very stupid he can really be. Discrediting yourself and your alliance and your capacity to effectively lead anything anywhere other than failure starts with this.. Karl Planck fakes killmail worth 7.7 bil then admits to it in comments.... lolz? Karl Planck: 2013-02-02 16:20:13 kill actually valued at 7.7bil. I malformed the mail to get a heretic on this because it deserves to be on our board xD How desperate Heretic Fakers and Karl Plonker himself must be right now to actually fake mails just to pump up their killboard stats and somehow convince themselves they are legit....... We screen shot this particular faux pa for good measure, just incase he gets the urge to not be this ridiculously publically stupid! Congratulations Mirrorgod on clawing back Heretic Nation from the inevitable failure Karl Plonker is about to lead Atrocitas down. The Crime in this is simple... never emo rage hand over CEO to an idiot when you lose your alliance ---->Griznatle... Karl Plonker couldn't lead a donkey already following a hanging carrot.

Hence the power pull to try and rip the leadership away from Griz and Karl to himself. During MG's time out of Heretics and in PL he lost his moon and tried to force Heretic Army to become his personal bank account to replace the moon by telling us that Heretic Army is no longer a pew corp and we're supposed to stop what we're doing train jump drive calibration V and get in carriers/train cyno alts to do low sec incursions 23.5/7. Accompanied by a very credible threat to remove Jude Lloyd (CEO at the time) with MG's 100% voting shares if it didn't happen, I feel they were right to pre-empt that threat by closing the corp and reforming it with MG no longer in voting control. Heretics was always a pew corp and all of us in Heretics are there for that reason, incursions is nothing like what we want and the whole suggestion was betraying Herertic's roots, so if Heretics was MG's baby, that's when he put it up for adoption. The Heretic Army MG created ceased to exist at this moment, the fact that Jude Lloyd saw fit to use the same name is immaterial. Had we not called ourselves Heretic Army again, MG's Heretic Army simply would have been empty and we'd have been calling ourselves something else. (We can probably arrange forum links to MG's posts on this if necessary, though I suspect no one else cares) The alternative was we could have reformed the corp under some other name but it would have been the same thing really. No one would have stayed in the corp to run incursions anyway, the options were reform or disband completely, incursions was simply not going to happen. Because of the above I will never belong to a corp/alliance where MG is king. I have absolutely nothing against flying with him and it's not personal, but the tendency towards pulling power moves is not something I'm prepared to live with. Griz and Karl were right to keep roles away from MG for the above reason as well. If I wanted to render all unto Caesar I easily could have chosen to get into a null sec power bloc instead of living in low sec for so long. I'm much happier under the laissez-faire style of leadership I came to expect when I joined Heretics and Mirror was in PL. Had MG just been content to organize interesting fleets and run them I would have been perfectly happy to fly in them, but I don't blame Griz and Karl at all for being cautious about giving MG a power share. EDIT: As for that edited mail, that was more for the benefit of people like me who had to work while the whole thing was going down. Chances are I would not have realized it was part of the fight otherwise, in any case what does it matter really. It's not as if Karl didn't post straight away the he had edited the mail for our personal KB (not BC or EvE Kill) just so we knew what went down, so I really have a hard time seeing it as a problem. If you were to look us up on any 3rd party board it wouldn't be there.

Everyone in the corp is well below -5.0 so moving an incursion fleet through high sec is pretty much out of the question, especially if we're doing it all the time we're going to get caught eventually and often. Going around in low sec has similar problems. In either event there is a strong possibility that moving from one to the other will take excruciatingly long. Throwing everything into a ship maintenance bays/corp hangars and carrier jumping WOULD have been doable had we been willing to do it.

I'll spell it out for you since you have a case of the dumbs: the plan was to jump within 1 stargate jump of the Incursion constellation. 2-3 carrier jumps is still way more pleasant than everyone flying deadspace fit battleships across 60-100 jumps of low sec/null sec to get to the next Incursion. -Liang Ed: Not that I endorse this plan or that I would have partaken in it (despite being quite well set up to do so). It's the kind of thing that will get you kicked out of university if your prof ever caught you doing it because it's a dishonest method of arguing on its face. If you don't know what that is quote mining is when you deliberately look through writings cite parts of it out of context to make your case when the original author is either not in agreement or directly opposed to you. This is WHY it's academically speaking a crime, because you are trying to make your point by misrepresenting someone who is NOT on your side. Now if you truly believe you're not quote mining you should have no issues with LINKING THE ******* FORUM. That way we can all read the unabridged version in its full context.
