Some of our members, (including myself ), I admit, are full scale forum prostitutes... what makes us different is that it's all in good humour... and as Teh Sniggles Public Relations and Recruitment thingy... I have to uphold teh law about keeping it civil... and smack free.
My top few pirate corps, disregarding SNIGG for course, would be in no particular order:
m0o corp.
The original, the most infamous, the most ruthless, and most respected pirate organisation in EVE. Man, zap's sexeh clean shaven bonse still gets teh blood flowing
Gods Unwanted
Some of my oldest remaining in game friends are here, Kaleeb, Marconious, Dion Rivers to name a few, and I lub V2 as well 
The Royal Syndicate
One word... Odet. RAWRRR!!1!!!1! Plus Trey is the only guy in eve who can make chopped up tupperwear headgear look sexeh. 
Shadow Of The Ghost
Originally a close knit, small group of players, who've expanded their ranks somewhat recently. Good guys, great pvpers, and Xoria is my dirty intaki bzznitch.
Loot
If these guys blockade a system... don't try to pass... you'll just die. The ULTIMATE GRIEFERS. Basically. Lots of respect for their rampaging abilities. Plus... my darling Gifty-poos makes good videos.

Rem there is no such things as pirates.
But if there were pirates i would have to say ATUF, D-C, TRS, Kr0m, DNA, and Tundragons are only ones worthy of acknowledgement. Rest i really dont know, or i found them to be lame and run.
RIP m0o, they gave me my first taste of death and my first taste of a better eve. (Thanks Sass and the rest of m0o)

TDG,teddies, DNA. Snigg goes up on the list on the strength of Verone's sig alone.
Lifewire & crew do it with style, always entertaining when we're not footing the bill (and still pretty fun even when we are). Props for doing their own thing and having fun with it.

But I am afraid, I must disaapoint you, some of us never stoped to fight for freedom, no matter how bad we were outnumbered ... so I wouldn't call that piracy ...
And BTW: I love all these pirate corps, if they play there role well ... so continue to try killing us, we do the same

The most skilled and best equipped ones are DNA imho. Closely followed by TRS and the Teddy/Tun threesome.
Snigg are a generally classy outfit that are pretty good aswell, but I suspect these guys are abit lower on the skilltree generally.

Fair enough...
Our CEO has a tendency to hire new members without requiring extensive PvP experience/skillpoints, and sometimes it hurts our reputation.
Also, most of our guys just want to fight and don't care as much about the odds...meaning we are taking on long odds 90% of the time and lose ships at times because of it.
All in all good assessment though.

Hmm, no offense guys, but most of the corps that are being mentioned here are NOT pirate corps in the true sense. S******dly is one of the only true pirate corps ingame. Now, if you are looking for just pure killers, then The Royal Syndicate are your peeps
