Following a breakthrough in research I can now start producing Tech 2 Cruise Missile Launchers.
The first few started to roll off the production line today (takes 2 and a bit hours to make each item).
Grab them in game in the Forge Region, and Citadel region at 15m each unit, or.. for preferential treatment order them in this thread.

How much does it actually cost you to produce these launchers?
Just curious as aren't T2 large guns a lot cheaper? About 6m per Mega Pulse II last time I checked.
btw, I'll be interested if the price turns out to be reasonable to the production cost.

Stats - The real advantage is the extra damage on the spec skill required to use them.

Apparently not, as I have the T2 Cruise Launcher bpo... there as a slight glitch before the patch the other day. You need a T2 Cruise Launcher to make a t2 Cruise launcher (which is kinda difficult). So I haven't been able to use the bpo until just after the patch yesterday :)

your target buyers will mostly have the arblast cruise, which is the same rof BUT ALOT LESS cpu, thus, arblast at 20mil vs ur t2 at 15mil, arblast wins
yes u get a 2% bonous rof per lvl , assume lvl 4 so taht 8% better, but it means that u have to gimp the rest of ur setup just to fit the launchers
just some advice to why ppl are not running to buy the item
at a lower price ppl would buy much more

Actually the skill provides a faster ROF
Basically at level 4 I think that these bays come out the same as DG launchers ..
So Excellet value for money when you compare them to DG's

15m is a little low for them. when dvd players came out they cost $1200 and now they're $69 at wal-mart. same thing applies here
charge what the market will bear, first few weeks you can probably get away with 50, 60m per cruise launcher
it's more fair than a wait list. those who want them now, can pay to have them now

When dvd players first came out they were $1200 because of the manufacturing costs due to new technology. Do you really believe that the build costs are the same today compared with 5 years ago? back to the game please...

can't be helping being when equipped with arbies, they currently show same RoF.
something is bugged on them, either the cruise spec skill is not applying or it's applying for both.

The technology has been out technically since the 1980's
In the mid 90's the price of manufacturing dvd players was not terrible expensive, i doubt it took them 15 years to relise that is a simple software and slight hardware adjustment from cd players to make it worth that $1200. trust me when summin new is out industry\commercial business charges what they want becus its new.

The first DVD player hit the market in 1997. You're telling me it took them 17 years to finally get a product out when it was cheap as chips to make and all it took as a simple software update anyways

I hate to say it may be. Seen it posted by others twice now.
I dunno, with support skills starting to pop off the 4's, torps still do quite alright on cruisers and frigs and they wtfpwn BS in a serious way. gotta like torps hitting BS's for over 600 hp without a BCU installed.
if anyone who may have already purchased some can confirm or not if they are working properly that would be very nice for any others that may be looking into cruisers now.
I feel for the guy with the BPO. first it was bugged by building reqs and now were finding out the item itself may be bugged.
God that would fry my butt if I got the BPO.

I can confirm that the cruise missile spec skill do not apply to cruise techII launchers.
I have both arbalests and techII ones installed. The rof havent changed on either of the launchers when the skill jumped up one lvl. Sad but true.

It's not that specialization skill isn't effecting T2 launchers. It's also effecting T1 launchers. That's why you have same rof with arbies and T2. This is bug(?) and I hope CCP will fix it soon(tm).
