Overview:
With some limited exceptions, a month or two here and a month or two there, I have not played Eve since the summer of 2010. I am interested in getting back into the game and am searching for a corp. to fly with.
What I bring to the table:
I began playing in 2006. My main has 66mil SP and my alt has about 35. I'm looking for a corp. for my main and blue standing for my alt.
I can fly all T1 and T2 Gallente boats and own a Thanny. I can fly all T1 and T2 Minmatar boats, capitals excluded. I can fly Amarr T2 cruisers and battlecruisers. Most of my piloting experience has been with DPS boats and I rarely flew logistics etc.
I have experience as an FC and running a fairly successful pirate corp. (the original Dark Star Cartel), though my preference for the future is to get out of a leadership position and enjoy myself a bit more.
I have historically used my main for pirating and low sec small gang ops and have trained trade skills with my alt; I am financially self-sufficient and have little to no concern for my security standing with my main.
What I am looking for:
I'm looking for small gang ops and piracy. I'm much more interested in enjoying myself with a small group of like-minded folks than I am in flying in large fleets with a bunch of strangers.
Since I haven't played in so long and my Hurricanes don't work anymore, I'm going to need some refresher courses. However, as I mentioned previously, I am pretty thoroughly versed in the game mechanics in general, and I expect to be a quick learner.
I want to fly with mature folks. While in-game maturity is important, i.e. SP and knowledge of game mechanics, I'm more concerned with real maturity--I won't fly with children.
I'm 35, I work a regular 8-5 work schedule, and want to play evenings and weekends. I live in Denver, CO, USA.
My expectations for the application process:
I've joined a few corps after DSC disbanded and didn't spend enough time doing my research before hand. That said, I'd prefer not to jump into anything very quickly and would like to opportunity to fly in some gangs and bullshit on Vent before accepting any offers.
