Edited by: Darnorr on 26/07/2003 19:17:07 Edited by: Darnorr on 26/07/2003 03:17:47 Been playing for a while now but with so much going on IRL I havent really wanted to join a corp untill now.
Significant skills: Corp Management level 3 Mining level 4 Refining level 5 Leadership level 3 Caldari Cruiser level 3 Caldari Frigate level 4 Caldari Industrial level 3 SpaceShip Command level 4
I have a Badger Industrial Class ship and a Badger Mark II Industrial Class ship with a CU Vapor mining laser on it.
Working on the skills needed for a Battle Ship. Currently solo mining in or near Todaki. Mostly online later afternoon early evenings PST (I live on the western coast of the USA) and want to join a corp with people who have miner online during similar times. I wish to join a corp with mature players who can focus on the game and not spend hours talking about beer/drugs/thier sex life (or obvious lack there of) My online time is limited and when its wasted on things that have nothing to do with the game or why I pay for it each month I will leave a Corp without a second thought. Its about the fun of the game for me.
If you have a corp that fits within these perimaters then please contact me * IN GAME * do not reply here as I very very very rarely read these boards, as I said online time is limited and when I get it I am IN GAME. My characters name is Darnorr. Thanks and have fun.

Also of note, once I have gotten the skills for Battle ship level 2 I plan to finish my industrial training in refinery level 5 and advanced refiner also to level 5. Trade skills are also something I am looking into. In the end this should allow me to get the largest amount of minerals back and sell them for the best profit.
Thanks for reading and please remember to post to me *IN GAME* have already gotten a few posts in game so I guess people really do read these things ;-)

OK so far one of the biggest troubles in finding a Corp for me has been most corps I hear from are just starting out or are very very small. Nothing wrong with ethier really as long as they acutally have people to game with within my online time frame.
As I posted earlier I am west coast usa and normally online from about 7pm-10pm PST. Rarely on weekends unless I am afk for hours at a time (so not able to group).
Please remember to message me * IN GAME * and not here as I do not check this offten.... took forever to actually find this post this time.

As a CEO of a small corporation, i have trouble finding people because of such attitude. If everyone just let the idea go of "a small corp is boring", then i would have had 40 people in my corp more or less... YOU as the player fill up a corp, and if you don't join a corporation that matches your idea's then its pretty hard for such a corporation to grow any further, i am not trying to say you should join every small corporation. But hang out for a day or two in the recruitchannel, and check what corporation really makes an efford with recruiting and matches your idea of a good corporation. Now you might think this is an alter way to get you in my corporation, but this isnt the case:
My corporation is a european corporation, and you do not play in my timezone. :) __________________________

All I said about a small corp was the ones I had seen never had people online when I was. Personally I dont care much for the size as long as there are 8+ people online during my normal online times. Other wise I might as well continue to solo mine. I group for the company of others and if in a corp where my only real company is my own then why be part of a corp? Hence, the small corps I have seen do not have enough (any) people online when I am and I would still be alone.

Just to update I now have Refining at level 5 and effiecient refining at level 3. So over all I have a 22% higher mineral recovery rate when processing ore now.
Still kinda looking for a corp that really fits my needs ( see above posts for full discription)
If your corp has what it takes then eve mail me *IN GAME* We can discuss a mutually agreeable time to gang up together and see how it goes.

Hey Darnorr, bumping your topic is against the forum rules - please don't do it.
(bumps deleted)
You do seem dedicated, though. Good luck in Hegemonic Core if that's where you're heading. :-)

No longer looking for a Corp. For over a week now I have been more or less locked out of Todaki and Amsen stations. Each time I dock at each my character gets stuck and has to have a GM to fix it and then its not fixed because if I dock "after down time" it still freezes me in a black screen. Now I log in today to check my status on refining effeciency and it had one point to go before complete, I get booted from the game only to come back and find I have to do the last 2 days training all over again.
I know all games have bugs and glitches but when they arent even being addressed there is a major problem. I spent a year waiting for DAoC to get its kinks worked out and I am not about to relive that mistake.
I have 2 weeks left on my eve account and then (unless some kind of miracle happens to fix the game) I will be leaving for a new game.
Thank you all for you many replies in game and I have enjoyed learning about all of your many corporations. Take care and best of luck to you all.
