1 question
why do ppl only think pirates shoot haulers
u have to be kidding me if pirates only shoot hauler we should all be '' pirates '' u cant tell me that if u see a hauler that u are allowed to shoot and u dont shoot it
haulers drop good stuff u have to shoot em but their not the only thing that gets shot

Kresh Vladir is right. Why would anyone attack a target which can fight back and might not drop anything nice, when you can shoot haulers which pop really easily and drop lovely, lovely loot?

Actually, that is not true. The only combat I have engaged in has been with 0.0 alliances. There are NO pirate in 0.0. Let me repeat that, THERE ARE NO PIRATES in 0.0. All pirates hang out at gates and gank people.
Hell 0.0 is a walk in the park, compaired to low sec space.
Plus, lames don't like people that fight back.

give me the following information and im sure you will see some pirates.
1) Main characters name
2) What routes you travel
3) How many warp core stabs you use?
4) Again how many warp core stabs you use?

That is what I said. How can you be a pirate when you have no infrastructure to disrupt? If you want to be a pirate go play "Hello Kitty Online" or even "Puzzle Pirates". You can even "Yarr" to your hearts content in the latter one listed.
