That kid is pretty fast and speed = power (so i am constantly told  ) but all you have to do is wait till he hits you and try to get your left arm in the way (probly breaking it in the process if he hits hard enough). He will then loose momentum for a short time, leaving you right arm to elbow him full whack in the face.
So yeh you have a broken arm, but he has a broken nose and is out cold, tried and tested method, just hurts a bit!  |

I'm 21, and I can guarantee if some blonde girly haired 8 year old ran towards me screaming and throwing a pole about like that i'd probably get my arse kicked purely because I'd be stood there thinking "WTF?" and would probably be laughing my head off at the stupid faces he was pulling...
Other than that the only way I could see me kicking his arse is if i knocked him down with a car or lobbed a grenade at him. A piece of solid wood hitting you that hard, at that speed, even with an 8 year old at the other end of it is enough to easily incapacitate most people.

Wow that kid has some skills even if it was a kata it shows how much dexterty and experience he has.
To the guy to think he would disarm the kid thus it was harmless - I think it would still kick your arse to hell and back.
The pirate hairstyle sucks tho

Thats the stupidest thing i've heard in a long time. Obviously you're unaware of the laws of physics or have never swung a stick with your hands in your life.

If you accelerate a small ammount of matter (re thin pointy stick) with x ammount of energy it will do less dammage than a larger ammount of matter (6ft long pole thing wielded by star wars kid)accelerated with the same ammount of energy... (varous reasons, but partly because small pointy stick will bend slightly on impact 'softening' the blow..)
BUT...
Eventualy though, if the speed of said small ammount of matter (re small pointy stick) is high enough it can still break bones, and if the wielder is well versed in "small pointy stick swinging" the he has the advantage of agility.
That said...
The star wars kid does have the advantage of several inches of flab, which would go along way to protecting him from blows to the body and extremeties by small pointy sticks. And as the small pointy stick kid is ... well... small.. one good two handed wack by star wars kid and his big pole ( ) is gonna flatten him..
On a final note..
The small pointy stick kid does have the advantage of being in need of anger management lessons.. but then again.. star wars kid deffo has that "no friends, laughed at by people, gonna be a psycho" look in his eyes...
HMMMM pretty close to call, but Id put my money on sharp pointy stick kid.. but only just
