This was back in Castor in the newbie corp:
I was flying a caracal. Another member of the corp(we'll call him Bob) got on everyone's nerves. He begged, he tried to scam at least one person, and he just generally ****ed people off. Apparently I seemed like a nice guy, so Bob in his shiny new Merlin asks him to come help him hunt...in a .3 system. So I did for about half an hour, the spawns weren't too great but they could've been worse. Then, what seemed like a perfect opportunity arose for me. I locked him and unloaded my 5 heavy missiles into him, destroying his Merlin. I decided to be nice and left his pod intact. He went back into the corp chat and whined, and whined and whined about it. Funnily enough, everyone sided with me. I recall one particularly amusing section of the conversation from a few days later when Bob finally got back on again.
Bob: Kuggington is the worst person ever Someone Else: Kuggington is our friend
He logged off a short while later and never got back on again.
Not long after Exodus was released:
A few of my friends joined the game. One of them was doing a deadspace mission, and he was convinced that he had to blow up one of the structures with a lot of HP. So we all helped him out. He was in a Coercer, another friend was in a Cormorant, and the third was in a Rupture. I was in a Ferox, my raven was out in 0.0 so it was the best I could get at the time.
Now, they wanted to be pirates, to start their own pirate corp even. I doubt they would've done well anyway, but I wanted them to know what being pirated felt like. They decided to go hunting in .4 space, and I said I'd tag along. So three of us get there, and we wait at a planet for the last guy to show up. When this happened, I popped the two destroyers then almost got to the Rupture when he warped away and docked. If I had been planning on it before I would've fit a scrambler, but oh well. The three of them and two more friends ended up quitting the game. Now the play WoW, and I laugh at them.
Probably not the best stories, but they amuse me.
