is there a way to increase the font size for the menu system on the lefthand side ingame? I would like to play on 1280 x 1024.. but the font is so incredibly small, its impossible. some sort of modification that can be made to the pref file?

I would like to know too.. I prefer 1280x1024 as well, however, the system fonts are just way too small.. 12 px is just too small.
It is too small for me even on 1024x768, I am always leaning in closer to the monitor to try and read the small words.
14, 16, 18 px font sizes are most wanted!
(I am not talking about the Chat Window font sizes, that is all fine and dandy.)

i would like all the text to be enlarged so that people with low vision can play as well, most game developers do not take this into consideration when designing a game. I think we need font sizes up to 24. Please ccp can you please consider this when you do the next major update, my wife would like to play but she has little vision.

My wife's computer has a 19" monitor and things look very good in Windows at 1280x1024, but for EVE she has to stick her nose on the monitor to read.
Hell, even I have to do it if I look at her computer.
Please increase the text size!

I know us few here are not the only ones who wish the font sizes to be larger. So please, instead of just reading this post and moving on ((eyes the 115+ views)), post your reply with your wish for this as well, let em know you want this!

Yeah it would be nice. Perhaps there is a way to manually change this somewhere? It's really not possible to play at 1600x1200 with the current sizes.

Open the ESC menu, Generic tab. In the middle column, Menu, there are two radio buttons to select the context menu font size (10 or 12 pixels). I believe that 10 pixels is the default. Be sure you have 12 pixels selected. This is the only place I know of where you can change the font size (besides the one for the chat window).
