i suggest a thoughtful discussion of beef stew and its inherent superiority over any non-beef stew
While I would hesitate to agree that beef stew is inherently superior to stews that use other types of meat, I would certainly agree that any meat stew is better than any meatless stew, because meat owns.

I don't think curries are really a stew. Virtually every curry I make basically has the meat cooked separately and added last, whereas stew you throw everything in and cook it together.
Lamb does own, however.
