Grrr...can log back in now....but suffered a pod death due to the 'stuck' issue...lost my ship..and all it's fittings....and my insurance didnt pay out :(

 Huh, I am getting "cant connect to server blah-blah-blah" too. Since it's already 1:30 am I am gonna go to sleep and dream about CCP reimbursing those 8 hrs of lost training time for tonight

Well, its happening to me. Maybe they should have waited untill they had rock solid servers before offering free trials. I was pretty tempted to actually subscribe but... I guess i'm spoiled from WoW pretty much working fine 100% of the time. At least in WoW if the servers are running I can play, even if I might have to deal with little bugs while playing. At least I picked FrigIII to train over night just incase something like this DID happen. 20h's till i'm ****ed off.

It happens.. crashes happen and I agree be nice if CCP would tell us what is going on .. Though the one who's compairing WOW to EVE really needs to do a double check, WOW has had more server issues then 90% of mmorpg's since it's start, it's first 2 months were a nightmare as well.. Eve's little hick ups are NOTHING compared to the screw ups on WoW.

No explanation,
it's time for some 'compensation'.
Either $ (customer right) or time added to eve player acounts imo. People that got stuck and now aren't able to log in bassicly haven't been able to game properly for 3, 2 or 1 day(s).

It stops at: Entering station.
I HAVE to change my skill now, training is almost over... (and I'm gone tomorrow)
I already lost more then 6 hours a while ago,
because I was new and didn't know the server would be down so long after a patch.

I am stuck in merolles. i have been trying to log in for over 2 hours. when i select my charecter to enter the game, the load bar gets to half way and stops. I am with you all on wanting some information from ccp about when this problem will be corrected.
I just can't relax until iv'e blasted a dozen rats.

Am stuck too , jumped with my main character from Tunttaras to Sarekuwa but the view remains over the gate in Tunttaras system .
This is not the first time to have such server problem , had the same before .
We are paying money here to CCP so I expect them to respect and provide a good quality service for the money they are getting .

I have been stuck for 4 hours in Pucherie, and now my training is completed and I will start losing hours of training.... good job CCP.
I'll try again in another 5 hours...
Guess there's nothing I can do about and just lose 5 hours of skill training
(probably more, I bet it's not fixed after 5 hours)
If it's not fixed after 5 hours, I'll lose another 10 hours (not home)...
Goddamn, this is starting to irritate me, at least fix the problem after all that time!

Yeah. I gotta say, I've been playing for like 5 months now (okay, admittedly not as long as most of you), but this is really the first series of problems I've seen. I understand than training is the mainstay of this game, and almost all of us aren't training anymore, but that's just it - almost all of us aren't. Very few people, if any, are going to get better than you during this downtime.
Another thing...how many of you guys come on here praising CCP for keeping things running every day? It's easy to pick something apart when it's NOT working, but when it IS working it goes unnoticed.
Go ahead, throw tomatoes.

Just as I thought, I have been stuck for 9 hours now.
My skill training is already completed 5 hours ago...
Now I have to leave and will lose another 10 hours, GOOD WORK!!!
Even my alts are stuck now..

Ok... jumping on the bandwagon here. Only lost about 2 hours last night (South Africa), and have a skill that is finishing in under 30 minutes (<23m to be precise).
I think days like yesterday and today, make a good arguement for allowing people to change, NOT queue, skills from a web browser...but then I guess people will write an app to queue externally...but oh well...
It is rather annoying...and we've not heard anything about WHAT is wrong... does CCP even know? Ingame we just keep getting messages about systems not working, etc. And it seems that the hope is that rebooting the entire system will fix it...well, doesn't appear to have done that last night.

the whole skill thing should be handled by the following way:
If your paying you can log in and change skill from website if your not you cant log in
and thats bout it
what does CCP care if i log onto game or not since im still paying
