I'm not sure what country you're in currently, but in the wonderful United States of America we have a thing called freedom of speech. It's 2013. If you still get mad about the "n" word, you need to do a lot of growing up. No one has the right to say "This is our word." Also, like someone else said, stop trying to white knight on a game that is well known for it's ruthlessness. I for one believe it could actually add to the game. Someone drops the n bomb and people start trying to duke it out with internet spaceships. Boom, player made content.

Saying the n word is offensive. I too think that racism is rather crude and should not be used any any istance, defenitely not in a game, where the whole point is to have fun. Obviously as in anything there will be conflict, but racist coments are looked down upon in my opinion, I think if what he said was truly racist, he should recive a punishment such as chat banned for 24 hours or something. Then again, if you read the ccp conduct guidelines, saying the n word is not really a prosecutable offense, though I still think racism is a unsportsman like conduct, even in a game where its acronym is everyone vs everyone.

Go to Jita right now and spam the N word as many times as you can and see what happens.

What would OP deem as the necessary 'Harsh and Public Punishment'? Would you like the ISDs to warp in, drag them out of station in their most expensive ship, announce in local for everyone to warp to the station, and then publicly execute them because they used a naughty in local? Id tell OP to HTFU...but id probably get petitioned.
