Hi
I can fit 1100ish torps in my cargo
The size of torps needs reducing, its unfair, especially seeing the changes of recent have made it very clear that missiles are to be turretised.
Anyone agree?

yes, missiles from heavy up need to be made 1/2 size to accomidate for the changes.

Yeah I have always thought they were too big. In a crow I can fit 5000? light missiles I think. Now If I fire 3 every 10 seconds or so thats 4.6 hours worth of ammo.. in a Raven which fires 6 torps every 12 seconds or so thats only 36 minutes of ammo... I think these numbers should be much more similar. Especially since raven wants cargo space for collecting loot and it has never had so.

its a good point i dont use missiles myself but a lot of my corp m8's have commented on the big increase in missiles they now need to complete missions

I'm going to sign this as well. I've heard the argument that tempests and megas have to hold a load of cap boosters in there cargo but imo, that argument is weak.

Missiles get me by, I'm happy that they increased the volume per run from 10 to 100...
But yeah, a 25% reduction in missile m3 per unit would be swell.

Yeah they are a bit big, really there's no reason to have them take up so much room. It's just a pain in the ass to have to go get more ammo all the time, I don't see the practicality behind it. Is it supposed to be a disadvantage to missiles or what?
Like I said, seems like an annoyance and nothing more

What we need is an ammo bay that modifies its size by what weapons you are fitting.
The fluff reason would be that each hardpoint has an amount of space that is set aside for weapon and ammo. Slower shooting guns are usually larger in size and thus would use upp more spce in the hardpoint and thus the amount of space available for ammo would shrink.
And please dont get into the fact that each round is as big as the next, anyone that belives a dual 425mm autocannon uses the same size rounds as a 1400mm howitzer needs to rethink what he uses his brain for :)

How about a magazine (expander) type mod to go into a low slot gives extra storage for missles only?
Free-form Professions, ensure no limetations on professions. Be a trader, fighter, industialist, researcher, hunter,[i]pirate[/i] or mixture of them all.

Oh wait wrong char, this one is caldari and missile spec'd
Make missiles smaller, if some targets are gonna need to be hit by more ammo for me to kill it, then i need to be able to carry that ammo.

Totally... Raven in 0.0 is funny... GO 20 jumps... Fire at a few ships for 30 mins ... travel back 20 jumps for another load... rinse... repeat... arghhh!!

yep, missiles definately need to have their volume reduced, I can fit 6650 Large Hybrid charges in my hold but only 1108 Torps, somehow i dont think those missiles are doing six times the damage of a 425mm round so why should they take up 6 times the space?
