Forced Penetration is a 6 month old Amarr Factional warfare corporation. We are currently well represented in all time-zones and are looking to continue our growth.
Our current membership is made up of pilots from all over New Eden, from High-Sec carebears who have put away their mining barges and jumped into cruisers, to experience Null-Sec pilots that have gotten out of their Supercarriers and dusted off their frigates. All of them agree that coming to Factional warfare was one of them best things they have done in their Eve careers.
If you are new to Eve online, factional warfare is hands down the best place to learn PVP. Every pilot in the corporation is willing to help our newest pvpers get the most out of their time online, whether it be advice on fittings and tactics or dragging you into fleet for some fun GÇô You will never have to fly alone (unless you want too)
If you are experienced and bored of EVE like some of our senior members were, you'll find Faction Warfare refreshing and fun.

Alas this story is too long for a single post in the recruitment forums...so I will made multiple post over the course of the next week or so!

A Space Goat: Part 1
When I was a young space goat I was very much a "Carebear" I did industry work in high sec and initially at least I was very "risk adverse". My very first major goal in eve was simple -> Faction fit Battleship!
I achieved this fairly quickly and then like a lot of carebears started to look at ways to maximize my ISK per hour. I started a corp of mine own, used my at that point high standings with Caldari to put up a tower in high sec and recruited a few industry minded people.
And that believe it or not is what started me on the road toward becoming a PvPer.

A Space Goat: Part 2
The industrial stuff started as you would expect. We did level 4s, salvaged them and mined them out if they had some decent ores. Everything we collected went directly into making tech II drones, rigs and frigates. It was golden age of industrial wealth for us but what to do with all the ISK we were making?
Answer: Low security space
We had the cash coming in to cover loses so what we figured the risk was worth the potential rewards. We started ducking into low sec to do scanning sites, level 5 missions and the odd bit of mining. Through a heap of research and organization in regards to PvP we worked out some good avoidance methods, and at first we would run from a fight rather then take it on.
We only got ganked in missions twice over all. Considering our lack of PvP knowledge and the shear amount of missions/scanning/mining we did in low sec we were impressed by this. We were also making more ISK again and had nothing to really spend it on...so maybe...you know... we could try PvP?

Suffice to say we failed...hard... The main issue we had was actually getting someone to fight us. We had about 5 of us in whatever we personally felt comfortable losing. Some suicide tackle frigates and BCs mainly. On our second roam ever we got horribly murdered by a Pirate Maelstrom that was shield booster fit. He killed us 4 on 1.
To our credit we all stayed until the bitter end and no body lost a pod, but you talk about moral crushing. The pirate joined a convo with us after the fact and answered a few questions we had the first being
Da **** you fitting?
Answer: Dead space shield booster/crystal implants and blue pill (that apparently he didn't use)
Second Question: Da **** how do we beat that.
Answer: Practice
That made us feel a bit better about ourselves since we were very new to PvP and he was clearly every experienced!
