Feedback - It's not a bad idea, but no I don't think that is the solution we're looking for. The tracking speed idea doesn't hurt to give some thought though maybe?
Frigs got a significant boost against battleships since cruise missiles and torps are no longer "I WIN" buttons. I also think it's perfectly realistic for NOS and Neuts to take/kill a set amount of cap on a target.
"At this time" - I don't think that Nos and Neuts need to be changed. --------------------------------- Carebears are cooler than you.

The only thing wrong with Nosferatu and Neutralizers is Neutralizers quit when your own ship is out of cap. Which sort of makes them useless compared to a Nosferatu.

Well it uses cap to neutralize the capacitor of the targeted ship so it wouldn't make sense if you could run them with no cap. ________________________________________________________

Originally by: Selim Not only does real life not matter in EVE, you're also wrong. Molotov*****tails only worked in ww2 because the undersides were unprotected, and the crew would burn up - the tank would not be affected.
You don't even need a Molotov*****tail. A retired tanker, writing on another fora, told us that all you need is a rock, a cup of water and a gun. The first to immobilize the turret, the secound to disable the engine and the last to shoot anyone who gets out to do something about the first two.
Still, nerfing nosses and neuts is stupid.

If it kept you capless I sould say that is good enough. As is they dont have much of a practical use...even on setups optimized for them.

Nosses and neuts are ok for one reason only.
A nos or neut alone does not suffice to defend against frigs. Even a nossed frig will still have the tiny cap needed to scramble you.
All they do is slow them down, and disable things like ecm. To kill the frig, you still need something like a target painter or medium gun, or drones, or ...
It's not a "win" button. Removing their effectiveness would however screw over balance imo. The current situation where you need multiple frigs to tackle and kill a BS, or just one frig to tackle while your BS friends do the killing, seems about right to me.

Frigs are rather overpowered as it is, really no need for further battleship nerfs.
2 years of tweaking and 90% of pvp in eve are 100k/30 sec fleet battles or 1 bs vs a few frigs ganks. That's what knee-jerk nerfs get you.

Sounds great.
Maybe we can make Neutralizers and Nosferatus like missiles, where they are less effective against smaller targets.
Then we can see blobs of 40 frigates doing all the PVPing.

roflmao, that great. a broken glass bottle with a gas/oil mix is not gonna take out a tank, lol. now that $15 rpg-7 picked up in downtown Bagdad....
now that CM's cant hit small ships for squat, i want them to be able to fit on Kessies again, seeing as the covert ops bombers are just as fragile, and 100X as expensive
