Was playing, then disconnected with a message that read something like "the server node you were connected to shut down"
Tried to connect again, one window stuck on authentication (this has been happening alot lately), and I start a 2nd client (usually only way to connect now) and that would get stuck to to - except I would see the log in progress bar quickly go to 100% with a message in it saying "disconnecting," while the first client is still stuck on authentication.
IS Eve having server problems today?

Yes, EVE is hosed again..... I am getting the same thing.... US Player here....
Begining to wonder "why" I pay to play....

Well I hope they reinburst my ship and its contents if destroyed when its back up...
I was in the middle of fighting :(
And now I cannot get back in :(

Same here. Was playing fine, then got lagged out and disconnected. Now i cant connect, get stuck on Authentication. First time for me. Live in Sweden, so it does'nt seem to be country specific.

Similar for me:
Was been kicked outta EVE and recognized a message about a "wrong TransportID".
Now when I try to log in again I always get the message "closing connection".
Oh CCP, what are you doing???
Fix these creepy bugs finally !

I'm in Paris, France and i have the same problem, yay -_- time to buy a real server people, or host it in a country with real network like sweden, or even here in velizy, like WoW and EQ2.

Well I am in the London, UK where the servers are and it also says "Closing Connection" when Authing :(
/me hopes his ships ok :(

Glad to hear I'm not the only one then - just got some sort of 'the node you are on has shutdown' message, and I couldnt exit the game. I'm in the UK.
Bah c'mon CCP, rent the expensive hosting

Same problem here, although I don't get any messages. Also, sometimes it gets past the authentication stage, but only to close the connection. No message about wrong password or anything
Was just about to test my new Jaguar/Wolf too...

Same. Brazil here.
At least I have a long skill training. Yesterday got stuck in a system and lost 4 hours of training...
now the message is:
"Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong."
But stills shows 10K players online for me.
What can I do... back to GuildWars.

Ayep same thing just happened to me... "The node you were connected to has gone offline" and now at log in goes from "Authenticating" to a fast "Disconnecting" just before progress bar teaches max and then I am back at same Log in screen and able to try to "Connect" again, where it does the same thing over and over again.... LOL
Something is terrably fubared server side..... I bet un-nurfing missiles so the Caldari Race is no longer hamstrung will fix it 
Edit... oh and in Canada eh!

Ok...
Now I cant even auth and it says I cannot connect to IP:PORT...
So maybe they are booting the server :)
Well I hope they are :)

Looks like servers are being rebooted - back online at 20:30 ish EVE time.
