Translation:
I am of the impression, that a large number of POS owners have become so complacent about the security of their POS with their many, many guns, that they can leave them offline and they will *still* continue to defend themselves. I have decided to test my hypothesis on the community by posting on these forums, and it has never occurred to me that said POS has been abandoned by its owner and left to whatever end it comes to...

I feel that spelling, punctuation, and grammer are secondary as long as you get the meaning of the post. Not everyone speeks English and those that do may not be able to do so all that well.
Pointing out someones mistakes is a *****y thing to do on something as trivial as this.

This, I feel, is a discussion for elsewhere. FWIW I agree, but with the caveat that if you make a post hard to read, I'm usually not going to bother.

Wrong.
English is not my first language but it is very very much easier to read and to understand it when it is writen correctly with correct punctuation and spelling. Dude's speaking is just harassing to decode and most of time it does not worth the effort to be read. Furthermore those who write into dude styles are mostly anglo-american people who want to seem 'cool' or to hide their gaps behind coolspeak. It is always a pleasure to read a foreign language when it is correctly written..

LOL , But he's not German.. he's Italian guy (as me). I realy hope that my english is not that bad as MonkeyKing's. In any case, it's still positive that someone try to speak a foreign language. So i please to all to have patience on who have "some problems" with english language. Sometimes we( non native english) can speak a bit hilareus, but our english language can improve only if we use it, and eve it's a good chance to make practice ( and to make other smile ).
P.s) Once a friend of mine went to London, and a girl asked him: "Do u speack english?". He answered " Just a beatle".
