I resized the notepad's text window and it turns to This.
I've tried everything, closing it, relogging, deleting my settings folder helps but then if i resize it again it just goes back to that.
Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

It's just run out of paper, you can get a refill from the online store 
Nyaha.. no seriously tho.. I have no idea.
If I find out tho- ill make a "note" of it.. mwahah  |

Try deleting your cache.

Hasn't happened to me but have you tried resetting default window sizes in the Esc menu?

Sorry for the thread necromancy but this is indeed a problem. I know the notepad is probably not the most important feature of the game, but if it was meant to not work, then why put an icon for it in the first place?
Just like the others my notepad is broken and won't show up properly again. I tried every trick in the book, deleted the cache, still no go. Is is a known bug?

Works for me... but many people I know it doesn't work for. Very weird.

I had the same problem a while back so i petioned it and ccp told me to delete the cache folder so eve will make a new one, and it worked for me, but that means your bm's will be all screwedup and the buddy list erased ....

i had that problem before. it was the notepad snap to the far left of the screen. you cant do anything with it. maybe turning the window snap distance up/down will help.
i did a clear of the cache and it worked again, i still use it, but just keep it away from other windows and bar on the left.
