An interesting bit of history is also that when the renegade Jovian General, Ouria attacked the Stain Empire with his brothers, Oracle was with them. That piece of history can be explained here:

A good read Dreez, one that has brought back many memories. As a one time member of the old Curse Alliance, OC were always honerable and skilled opponents. It was always a pleasure and, with Duke Droklars tactical expertise, sometimes a surprise to fight you.
People in EVE can not possibly understand the scope, ferocity and magnatude of our combats in those days. I firmly believe that with OC joining Curse, with the C4 Alliance, we were the greatest force of arms EVER in EVE. None even today can match our force, skill and courage at that time. Only those that were involved can truely understand what it was like, stories just can not do justice to the events that unfolded then.
I salute all members of the old CA, who in our day fought against the combined forces of nearly 75% of the EVE universe, and prevailed. It is sad that what we forged though the fires of combat later disintigrated from internal disention. They will be days always remembered, and even though today we may find ourselves on different sides of a conflict, I still regard my CA companions as friends.

Thanks Rodj,
I am not posting to glorify Oracle but instead to show a flow of events that has lead the Amarr/Minmatar conflicts to where it is now.
Always with respect,

Originally by: Wanoah I think the rise and fall of the CFS might make an interesting addition to the history books. Speaking personally, the reason I ended up disliking the FA was because of all the dirty political stuff they got up to in the period that saw the CFS and friends eventually wiped off the map.
The existence of the CFS opened up some of 0.0 to a lot of people that wouldn't otherwise have experienced it. It was a noble venture while it lasted.
Many of the CFS became friends of mine as I worked my butt off trying to keep a peace between them and the old CA. Many were good pilots, but for every good pilot in the CFS there were 10 who barely had a lick of PvP experience. Sure they had fancy new, shiney BS's and made for pretty parades, and that may have been their downfall, relying on their BS's to keep them alive.
I remember that the CFS did not like the CA going through them to get to empire space, a needed thing. I think it was Stain though, not FA that told them if they went to war with us in the CA, they would back them. I remember Mr.Binary in his Hoarder full of Bistot being told to exit CFS space or be destroyed. He complied and at the gate out was met, scrambled, webbed and killed.
I remember the CA hearing this and unanimously declaring war against the CFS. I remember no more than 5 minutes later 18 battle vetrans all in combat BS's entering CFS for what we later called the CFS Turkey Shoot. I remember Stain remaining distantly silent while the CFS called for help. I remember getting between 5-10 messages a day telling me of corporations bailing from the CFS and pleading with us not to shoot them. Within a week I remember 3 CFS BS's running from 2 CA Cruisers with 3 CA Frigates in support. I remember the pleading and crying for a peace and Xirtam standing firm with full CA counsil approval.I remember 17 days for the complete death of the CFS.
It was a savage war, fast and decisive. On the first day we killed 37 enemy BS's and lost 2. Many in the CFS were my friends, and I did my best to restore peace, right up until the end.

Something our enemies did their best to discredit and hide from all by excessive use of propoganda on the IG forum. That document was written by myself within an hour of the CA formation. Additional edits were suggested and used by several of the other CEO's and it was ratified and immediately placed into effect. It was then posted on the IG forum as well as the Corp forum.
