Before you flame read the whole post and actually READ it, not just skim.
I have been working for a while to make money and looking at the forums I am obviously doing something wrong because Im making a few mil a week and not much more. What I make I lose quite frequently (granted I do a lot of quite dangerous things ... merry christmass to the bastard pirate that got me last night).
At any rate, I have tried mining in 0.0 and between ship and cargo losses and the "magical" *chortle* appearance of enemies a scant 1 hour after I start cutting and the random deaths due to unstable server structure, I am breaking even these days.
Yet I see Mr pirate that blew up my hauler last night. The system I was in crashed just after I jumped and when I could get back online there was a HAC and inty sitting on the gate where i was bounced. He prolly mdade 20 million in that one kill. The 20 million that took me 2 1/2 weeks to make he got in a couple minutes. Now we can add the 3 hours he might have waited for a peach and MAN that is a serious ISK per hour rate.
So should I turn pirate and start blowing up innocent people and ransoming their pods ? (I first have to figure out how they lock pods so fast to be sure, BS locked it before I could hit autopilot). At any rate, it seems like that is the way to go to get to the 30, 40 billion people are boasting of.
What do you think? Piracy the best money ?

If you are set to travel through empire nowadays and got some spare time set autopilot to safest route and go afk or something in the meanwhile. DonŠt give them these easy ganks anymore Make them work for a living like everyone else.
Bah ... people are *****ing sheep. They do that once in a blue moon. i have yet to see any determined efforts to clean out syndicate and so on.

LOL 30m you asked for. My clone is only 2 mil. What would you say? Id either have to fly 22 jumps in a bloody pod or spend 2 mil? If you are going to ransom people you might try being reasonable. 5 mil someone might. But after i lost 20 mil in the hauler, I wouldnt have paid anyway.

The reason I asked for 30millin is because thats the price of the cheapest +3 implant. Alot of people have implants these days, and as such the cost of replacing them can run into hundreds of millions if not billions.
A friend of mine helped seperate a pilot from a complete set of pirate implants the other day worth over a billion isk, because they wouldn't pay a 300mil ransom.
That is why I asked you for only 30 million. If you had been nice about it instead of being exceptionally rude to me, we might have been able to talk it over and reach a deal. But instead your choice of words enraged me so much I removed you from my local area.
Like I said you already blew up 20m in stuff (or took it) deal wasnt possible.
And I fly in 0.0 and lowsec all the time, I gave up imps long ago. Oh and lets not talk about rudeness. Blowing up people randomly is a lot more rude. If you had siezed the haulerscrambled and then ransomed I might have paid. If you blow up people's ships unprevoked, you will get a rude reaction. Live with it.

Well, some people DO have implants. At least we attempt to ransom the pods when there's the opportunity and the situation permits.
As for blowing people up being 'rude', that's a point of view I guess. You take it personally it seems, where as we are just trying to make some isk while having fun. And, more often than not these days, ships have a ton of stabs fitted, so making sure the ship goes down as fast as possible is the only way to ensure gain from the kill. Ransoming ships has become a thing of the past due to stabs, and that's something we're all going to have to live with. No reason to attempt a ransom of something that we're not 100% sure is going to stay put.

You have "fun" at other people's expense. You take things people minedhours for merely because you can so lets stop trying to act like you are a misunderstood teddy bear will ya. Its idiotic. You chose to be a pirate, its time you live with the fact that people think you are an ahole.
My sig is perfect. If never advocated removing piracy but dont be such a f* carebear with it. If you are a pirate, be a pirate but dont expect your victims to be nice to you.

Despite what Derisor is saying, his loot wasn't worth that much. There were a few standard t1 bpo's like large hybrid ammo, a thorax bpc, couple of brutix bpcs but since I'm an ammarrian/laser user they are of little consequence or use to me.
So I may have netted myself effectively 20mil of raw isk, but usable stuff, probably only a mil or two. I left most of it behind because it was worthless to haul.
Ah well Im happy you didnt get that much. 
I was having a bad night last night but today you were just too slow Had a full cargo of tech 2 armor reps too. Toobad for ya.
At any rate I dont care .. thats the game ... I was just curirous if it was the best money in the game. If like to do missions for intaki but I think Id be banned from empire and that would suck rocks.
