"I find it funny how I can take any ship that I can fly such as the Raptor and make it work well.
I lasted 1:30 sec against a Frigate killing Maller, and in that time I had the Maller into armor and structure till his lucky shot.
And I loved flying 1 v 1 against other Inti's and frig pilots and made them with draw.
So yeah keep on talking about something you know nothing about.
The Raptor sucks YEAH RIGHT!"
So, you have awesome knack for using any ship well, and yet all you managed with Raptor was to get blown up by a cruiser, and to not get blown by other inty/frigate without killing them yourself?
Yup, clearly shows Raptor is uber; when even a great pilot by their own admission is not enough to get a clear win in one...

Just as long as nothing is boosted to a base speed faster than my Claw...for that is the #1 reason I bought it, and I'd just have to replace it if something else came out faster. ^_^
Seriously though.."low-end" inties..Stiletto should not be on that list. It's a great tackler and performs quite well in that role. Not all ships are meant to be flown solo, some really are meant to be flown in gangs. I don't see anyone complaining that Logistic cruisers can't kill anything on their own (hmm..they just recently got turrets. Will we start seeing these threads soon?).

The Raptor is effective. I was on the test server, and a raptor pilot was going around with 2 or 3 NOS, an armor tank and one blaster cannon owning interceptors.
Of course, in the end I brought my Taranis with 400mm plate and actually used the drones to beat it. 
Just because you think it is useless doesn't make it so.
Now the Aeros, it is useless just because the launcher grid increase gimpped it.

Wow. Just... wow. So tell me, Dionysus, how often do you fly a nosfer Raptor with one blaster and an armortank? Or for that matter, how often have you even encountered Raptors on TQ? Like honestly, what did you think sharing your delightful anecdote would accomplish. Did you post that because you are opposed to the idea of making the Raptor better so that they're actually used on Tranquility?

Because they're not.
Theres actually a lot of people who use raptors on TQ. But I think they are the same sort of people who like to punch walls to feel pain.
There are FAR more raptors than ares, I've seen maybe 3 ares in the last 3 months.

I have an idea for fixing the ares...
Give it 3 turret slots and 1 launcher... Give it the same bonus as a claw, boost its grid a bit, so that it can fit 3 electron blasters, a launcher, and a 400mm plate and a repper...
how does that sound?
