What if killmails stuck to their respective ships like insurance. If I have gone on a killing spree with my badger, I could simply relive those glorious days by showing info on that specific badger, and select a tab called kills or something.
I know certain ships stay with you for a very long time, and it would be nice to be able to see it somehow. Also, it would make the loss of your ships feel ever more bitter. |

I expected a poem on female pilots, but no such luck. Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling. |

I... actually quite like that idea. I also like the idea of a ship hull being stamped with a construction date when it's first unpacked, as long as we're asking. Why shouldn't EVE have an antiques market?

i actually quite like this idea, my harbinger back in empire has quite the history, after i captured it off a guy in a 1v1 against my zealot he ejected just as he went to half hull i stopped and docked in staiton undocked in pod and baorded it, then i kept the original name and i have killed so many ships with it since then with the original rigs since before there were rig sizes :-P so it sitll got the large trimarks on it :-P

Simply rename your ship to the number of kills on it. When it finally dies..it leaves a glorious wreck with the number of people who failed to kill it on it.
Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings? |

What if... what if we actually FLEW spaceships instead of just playing a video game? What then? CCP should get on this. Vote for me for CSM. |

I completely agree. I would love to see some more history on the ships just like you see on characters, considering your is arguable more your identity than your toon.
A really cool thing would be an odometer. See how many space miles I have traveled in that ship. Primary Test Subject GÇó SmackTalker Elite |

If they ever bring in custom fields for corp/alliance log's and such, I would be HIGHLY interested if they would put a field that updates automatically on the nose of your ship that shows how many kills that ship has made... especially if that nose art actually indicated (by size and silhouette) roughly what types of ship they were. To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors. If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |

manufacturer and first owner would be also a nice little detail. I think the main reason why we don't have something like this already is repackaging. The ability to stack an item would remove all metadata of an item and its uniqueness. Thats why we can't stack BPCs a eve-style bounty system (done)-á dust boarding parties You fail you fail you fail you fail to jump because you are cloaked |

As long as it is assembled and such, it would be interesting if it kept data like that. Once you repack, sure, you lose it. Just don't repack your awesome ships with sweet KB's and such, if you care about keeping them. If that's not something you care about? Oh well, repack it and it's gone, who gives a ****?

Good idea, and many other good ones in the thread. Ships deserve more immaterial value, the are the centerpiece of this game.

A "Bio" tab on the ship info could service this, right?
Put an optional timestamp in there from its assembly date and just drag and drop your KMs into it. MODULAR DRONES
